On the personal front, I’m simply appalled and traumatised by the whole situation. I’m an extremely weak person, so even reading about it and watching podcasts is giving me anxiety. I was working in Delhi Commission For Women last year and saw several cases of violence against women but this is by far the most gruesome case. I feel so helpless as a woman who has no power no authority. I feel scared for me and all the other women who constantly live in fear. Justice is a joke in this country but I’m still hopeful that her perpetrators will receive the strictest punishment possible. As a good human being, we are expected to be kind and have empathy, but I just wish that the perpetrators go through the same brutality and torture. Praying for her soul every single day ❤️🩹
