Honestly the new 400z still looks pretty good for a production car and it's clear that it's the closest design to the original datsun 240z.

Cool as this is, it would've been expensive to redesign the chassis to fit the styling. Enginneering compromised design to save money. The Z in the video is aggresive and striking, the Z we got is elegant and beautiful. I'd take either one in a single heartbeat.

My dad got one and then after that my dad got a Toyota Supra Turbo.
Needless to say, he wouldn't let me borrow the turbo Supra on a Friday night.
I was gonna race my buddy.
He had a Pontiac 6.6 Transam, automatic.
I would have got him in the quarter mile for sure. But that Transam was nice too.
It had the T-Tops and it was blue.

The Colors were very well put together. I'm not a green fan , but it grew on me by the end of this minute video so good job the orange and bronze sophisticated accents.

A guy in Japan has a 240Z g nose with a Pantera style hatch. Very cool car.( Pantera hatch removes the weight of the rear window. And reduces , heat from the sun in hot climbs.rear deck storage is reduced but really the useable space is still there.

this is dope you should make a time lapse of you making this render. I have a project 240 rn actually and have been wanting a way to model it on some type of program so i can get an idea of how i wanna get it to look.
blender would be the software for that, but it takes time to learn how to do stuff in it. i actually got 3d models from games to mock up how i wanted mine to look, even tho i decided to stay with a mostly stock body

remove the charger style tail light upward fold and make it like the OG 240sx lights pure horizontal.
AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! What does the inside look like? This is how I thought the New Z should have looked like because the new one looks more like the 300Z and the 350Z rather that the 240Z thru 280 Zs. I had three 280Z styles and would love to have a fresh new one with all of the New Age Amenities like phone, gps, etc......

I feel like the door handle should be up on the door. maybe it works and looks better, maybe not. Also think that front flare should come further down to cover the wheels and tie into the rocker. again, maybe better, maybe not. But the debris getting kicked up and into the rear..... overall, Sick AF!! If you'd like to donate one I'd be thrilled to own one lol

Raise to a ride height that you could actually have enough suspension travel to drive it and see if it still looks good. The arches are fine looking but they would only hurt suspension travel.
It's rare you see someone run a widebody and not bags..
