@petokyo This vessel is a fairly recent addition to the Hovertravel fleet. It was introduced in 2007 to supplement the existing fleet of AP1-88 hovercrafts that have been in use since the 90s.
Have been on hovertravels ap1-88 freedom 90 and BHT-130 craft and have to admit that "freedom 90" is looking a bit tatty now! what i cant work out is why they didnt keep idun viking (which according to wikipedia is 8 years newer than freedom 90) they of course then got island express in 2002 and solent express in 2007. why not have saved idun viking instead? plus freedom 90 seems to operate more than either of the other two. Guess thats due to the prop failure on the newest one last year!

When was this running? I'm sure I've been on that one too. Maybe it was in the 70's?
