It's an automated manual transmission, VERY different from a conventional hydraulic automatic transmission, with a torque converter (like Tiptronic)... It's mechanically the exact same as a regular H-pattern manual transmission, but instead of manually shifting the gears and operating the clutch, an electro-hydraulic control system will control the gear shifting an operate the clutch automatically. It's exactly the same as a standard synchromesh manual transmission, but shifting is operated via the TCU computer.
I just bought this car (2024). Runs great! Love it.❤
Congratulations!
So happy for you 🙌!
This beauty is also on my list.
Enjoy it! 💖
just got the coupe, what a fantastic engine and car.

My god this video is from 2004 more and less... The video quality seems like a video from 80's
@FabioWild85 well the source was from a VHS tape cassette!
Wonder how this car and the fancy transmission held up over the years?
Expensive maintenance and even more expense to rebuild it. I prefer the real manual gearbox.
15 years later, my coupe has 60K miles on it, did clutch when it was 30K miles. Not a single issue.
@@CarlsGarage1 How much to do the clutch?
I don't want one.
I want two ....
It's economics, lower mileage/car.
