Going to Portugal in a week..- trying to decide if we need to pay for a "tour" to Sintra with all 3 of the places you show in this video. My question is how did you get from Sintra to Quinta da Regaleria ??
Quinta da Regaleria is in Sintra. All the castles and palaces are in Sintra. You can either walk there from the train station, take a taxi, or take the bus where you can hop on and off with a day ticket. You'd only have to specifically pay for a tour if you wanted the extra information they give you along the way. So jealous you're heading there soon! Have fun!
It looks cold with the puffies and all! Around what time of the year did you go and what do you recommend on bringing (outwear wise). Going to Lisbon in a week!
It wasn't terribly cold when we went in mid-February. At night, we wanted the jackets, but during the day we took them off and had on a sweater or long sleeve shirt over a t-shirt in the sun. Overall, we'd recommend layers since you'll be out and about, and make sure to check the weather before you go as it might be different than our experience.

I keep hearing Pena palace is not worth it and too overcrowded, debating if I should do it or not . I already have 2 palaces planned for that day.
We thought it was nice and not too crowded, but we visited in February. Honestly, we preferred some of the other castles though!
