    The epilogue was great, seeing Omega choosing to take the next step into the Rebellion is just poetry.

    20:53 well that and Tarkin isn't interested in wasting money looking for clones, but is rather sweeping the whole Tantis incident under the rug. They're safe because no one in the empire is terribly worried about finding them.

    It's a shame, I was hoping you'd do the third season too. I hope Tales of the Empire is on your radar? Great finale to the Bad Batch!

    I am impressed by how mature and self-assured this season has been. Surely there was temptation to lean hard into Rex adventures, and even greater temptation to stick some Ahsoka stuff in there, but were restrained in outside cameos. We got one ep of Ventress, a splash of bounty hunters, and just enough clone faces (lol). I am also pleased they were merely teasing force sensitivity with Omega, as making her an insta-Jedi Knight would have felt incredibly cheap.
    Instead, we got a family struggling to find their way in a changing galaxy, and a surprisingly heartwarming ending. Although not said, surely Hera and Omega reunited in the Rebel Alliance and kicked all sorts of ass together.

    @NerdyNightly,
    21:01 Hemlock found the island remember? His operative reported directly to him and no one else. That is why the Empire won't find this place (they don't know that they should be looking for it) and why they are set back with their science. It is weird that Palpatine didn't have backups in place. Then again, he inevitably fails because of his own arrogance in about 10 years from now, no?

    [15:44] Being the best IS awesome. [16:55] Omega's "We have a Hulk" moment. For me this series is partially about coming home after the war is over, struggling to find purpose outside of combat and accepting peace as way to live.

    I wonder if Omega ends up in Rogue Squadron at some point in one of the future SW titles. It would be a logical way for her making the jump to live action.

    Our last Domino saving the day! Echo taking point on the rescue was great.
    With free choice being such a big theme in the clone stories, having Echo verbalise that helping out was voluntary was just one of many great beats in this story.
    Crosshair's time with Omega moving him from barely hittong fruit with his good hand to nailing pinpoint shots with his off hand and soany more moments.
    Final honourable mention, Rampart's ego meaning that whilst he killed Kamino in season 1, Kamino got to kill him right back!

    You know Palps if the first one doesn’t succeed just make a second bigger one that has more design flaws than the first. In all seriousness the show I think is tale about how the bad batch and the clones unknowingly foiled Palpatine’s plan to create a perfect clone body. 40 years passed and they still were not able to crack the code of a perfect M count transfer in the Rise of Skywalker

    • @christopherkowalczyk4405
      @christopherkowalczyk4405 25 днів тому +1

      Ya that's my take on it too. The cloning part is easy, Palps transferring his will to the body is explained by dark side arts, but keeping the body from decaying because of dark side energy was always the issue.
      Palps never figured it out hence why turning a clean clone loose to harvest the kids from that.

  • @Heavensrun
    @Heavensrun 25 днів тому +1

    A) Wolfe kept his hair
    B) Omega doesn't have a high M-Count, her blood just functions as sort of a binding agent for M-count transfers in others.

  • @Skye_Writer
    @Skye_Writer 25 днів тому

    But we already KNOW how Palpatine returns, and this show DID answer that. Midichlorians cannot be directly replicated from the source, so they needed "specimens" whose blood acts as a binder to allow the midichlorians in the host blood to be transferred into the clone. We were never told that Omega has a high enough M-count to be Force-sensitive, and in fact Ventress said that from what she could tell, Omega didn't have a high count. But we learn from Hemlock that Omega’s blood sample did _support_ a positive M-count transfer when added to the host blood.
    A couple of decades later, Dr. Pershing comes along, building on that research somehow; there must have been a backup somewhere, or else Emerie passes it on to someone who she _thinks_ is going to use it for good purposes...perhaps he is her son, even. (He says he lost his mother when he was very young, that her heart gave out, and "had simple organ cloning been available on my homeworld..." she could have been saved. How did he even know about organ cloning at a young age unless his parent told him?) In any case, he uses that knowledge along with Grogu's blood to transfer midichlorian-rich blood into the Gideon clones. Everything suggests that before he worked for Gideon, Pershing was in Imperial employ for one of their own cloning facilities (as indicated by the patch on his uniform) so he would have been working on Necromancer 2.0.
    No way in the 'verse was Palpatine going to let Tarkin just completely shut down his operation and use all the funding for the Death Star. There is a REASON that it takes another 16 or so years for the Death Star to be completed, and it isn't just the size. Not when they have prisoners and robots working around the clock 24/7 to put it together. Palps would remind Tarkin very strongly who was actually in charge, and he'd have taken back some of that money. Just because the databanks there at Tantiss were destroyed DOESN'T mean that copies weren't being regularly uploaded and sent back to Palpatine every few months.
    The fact that it takes so long for him to get a viable clone isn't because he doesn't have the research worked out, it's because he doesn't get hold of the right donors with the right blood chemistry to bind to his and support a positive M-count transfer.

    The fan part of me is just hoping that they make just one more clone related series even if it’s just 1 season. Because we know Rex, Gregor, and wolffe end up retired together, so I hope for a single season just showing them all eventually getting together and seeing possibly where some of the other clones ended up.

    Omega's M count is not high. She has a genetic "feature" that allows M counts to be transferred successfully when cloned.

      There is still more explaining with project necromancer during the mando Era a it was mentioned in season 3. Mabye since omegas data was lost is the reason palpatine is in a twisted body that can't handle the life force shown in ROS.

    You cut too many bits of context that help people follow the story. You can show more footage.

  • @brettmanus7904
    @brettmanus7904 26 днів тому +1

    An example from my previous comment, you essentially cut the last 3 minutes with grown Omega. You completely left out what she was doing. That is irresponsible. 👎🏻
