Krishna means Attraction ..He only can attract any one in this world than any one - No one is famous than He, No one is more Renouncer than He, No one is more opulent than He, No one is more beautiful than He, No one is more stronger than He, No one has more Knowledge than He. Hindus dont know this and hence they worship shiva, Brahma, Indra, Chandra etc. that is the problem with so called Hinduism compared to any Abrahamic religions which has strong meaning for GOD and believe in only one GOD.

You don't wear cap inside temple compound and you must shave and shower before entering sacred precincts of an ISKCON temple or any Sanatan Dharma place of worship anywhere. The devotees of Krishna are Vaishnavas. The "food" is refered to as prasad or prasadam because everything consumed inside temple is first offered to the divine deities. The "guest house" is not meant to be used as some cheap hotel because it is an ASHRAM meant for traveling and serving devotees.

Srila Prabhupada Himself was a highly educated Chemist, and owned a Pharma shop.
Krishna takes care of everyone, he chose to serve krishna, why shall he touch material education? Taking poison for the means of piece of bread is a fool's idea. Those who surrender and take complete shelter to krishna saying "I wish to serve only you and none else under a mortal' is true devotee and a rare one. Didn't you hear, his own family abandoned him just because they think he's evil for being a krishna devotee, family is only family until you provide them with food and shelter, else no one is yours. Wake up sir, if you're trying to be a devotee, do not consider your advice is proper for a devotee who's renounced fake people in this world. Our real and true relation is only with krishna. Michael Prabhu is a far more greatest and blessed devotee, whereas your advice would not suffice and make an importance because you're not following what really prabhupada said.

I did not go to the temple the same day because I had eaten fish, so I went the next day. I’m not sure about shaving or wearing a cap. The guest house in the temple complex consists of many rooms and for one day the cost was appx 3600 INR. So, instead of staying in a hotel as a traveler where I would pay the same amount or less, I would prefer staying here so that I can contribute in the spread of our culture.
