As a real racer who has driven both latemodels and sprint cars I feel what you’re saying. But I wanna know how no one has mentioned the fact that besides a few tracks, the cushion or where it should be. Is about a lane and a half into the crumbs and dust on the top of the track. For me volusia is the most realistic track. The track widens out all night and the cushion is actually right on the edge crumbs and you can physically feel it. Just a big miss in my opinion the tracks need regripped. But I did realize Johnny yells quick time in the races when you hit your best lap of the race. It’s ridiculous but atleast it wasn’t random lol
Great video and helpful! I don't race the real cars, but enjoy the game a lot, so any insight from a real racer helps. I live 5 minutes from the Orange County Fair Speedway in NY, so the Big Block Modifieds are my go to car.
Definitely true with the 100 effect strength all the other games it’s like steering a brick this one ain’t bad but in every other game it’s next to impossible
Thanks boss. I just bought the game and started making a tribute winged sprint car in honor of my good friend David Tarter who passed a few years back racing sprint cars. Freak accident in the pits, tire blew up when adjusting pressure and the rubber hit him out n the head. God Speed 35!
I will have to try the centering spring. Definitely 100% race length! I don't understand why some of the lobbies use shorter formats. I say "man up! and run a full race!" As I understand it, the motor in Logitech wheels are on the weaker side of most so it makes sense you'd crank up all the way. I need a more stable rig for my Thrustmaster TX because even at 50% force feedback on some turns of the wheel move the rig around. Using a portable folding work bench weighted down until I decide how crazy I want to get. Thanks for this video!
Just tried your setting on the 410 Sprint Cars with my G29 on PS5 and I just had drop down the force feedback to 50% and turn the centering spring off. The forces were too brutal for my arms when i do a 30 lap race. I'm guessing you've got Tank arms. Keep the videos coming great to watch and much appreciated.
@@TheFastFarm hehe nice. Hopefully this game becomes the definitive Dirt Racing title on Console just like Assetto Corsa Competizione has done for Asphalt racing.
I use your settings and finally starting to get the hang of the wheel. Just started online about a week ago. Starting to get better at that also. Online definitely depends on the group you're running with. If you're on xbox I would definitely like to run against you sometime.
I don't care what cars or setup you're using for each type of car, the bottom is the fastest line on 90% of the tracks in this game. Even if someone is running a perfect line up top, nobody will catch you if you're nailing the bottom.
I take it you like the centering spring on? Good stuff… I knew you would like it.. most do… I used to have my feedback at 100 as well until I learned it was actually slowing me down.. I’ve since changed it down to 40%. I still get good feedback and not fighting wheel
These settings ur showing here, are they good for all classes ?? I mainly run 410 sprints and I’m running the G923 Logitech. Thanks. Frustrated in Texas.
The Fast Farm I Have Skill Range At 0 Because I Don’t Like To Run Into Lap Traffic Right Away & I Have Stability At 75 & I Have Consistency At 75 Because I Want See The AI Cars Being Competitive At There Laps
I'm not a race car driver in real life (I wish lol), but I have raced pretty much every game on Xbox for the last 10 years. Your steering settings & explanations are dead on and exactly what I use. Center spring should always be on, like you mentioned it keeps pressure on the wheel even when at center....it doesn't necessarily try to keep the wheel "centered". No centering spring almost makes it feel like your driving a boat, you can't feel the tires, it's just weird. I think the 2 biggest settings in all racing games are the range and sensitivity, I constantly try explaining this to friends. With a low range it's kinda like putting a go kart steering wheel on a 18 wheeler, high range would be like an 18 wheeler steering wheel on a go kart. Running a Low range is no good, cars are way too twitchy and also burns up your tires because you likely have the front wheels turning past full lock.....which equates to being slow. Anyway, good video, game is a blast.
This is by far the best wheel settings break down for this game, thank you! Also you sound exactly like the comedian Nate Bargatze haha
Glad it helped! Stick around for our race vlogs!
"you may not have a race car to go test that.....I do so...." haha nice flex

That’s a great point! I hope they go back and look at the tracks they already have and make improvements rather than be in a rush to pump more out.

This is really helpful for a old man like me😂 this being the first game I have ever played! Keep the content coming on this game👊🏻

Could you go to the p1 control, I do not have the wheel yet. Thank you for your videos.

Online I’m usually only good for 10-15 laps due to the crazies lol

Definitely don’t have tank arms, but I’m gonna show my wife this comment so maybe I’ll get a little more appreciation around this house 😂

Hey thanks for the video I just race sprint cars I'll copy your setup and let you know how it feels.

I think a lot of people defend this because they don’t want it to be true. But the more I play, the more I agree with you.
Ripping the lip at Bristol is fun if you can avoid the wall
How do a fix my parts from wearing out if it's maxed out.
Any idea of why my wheel doesn't work anymore on ps4 with this game? Works fine on any other racing game

Mind sharing what your tuning set up is
I am making a video hopefully tonight About baseline set ups that get you close. Be sure to look out for it!
What’s the best setting for controller??
What are the best settings for a controller.
Have this on switch. Really difficult but fun lol
Thanks boss 👊
Do you race in any leagues on ps4? Looking for a good fun league!!

The settings will. They impact the overall drivability. My other video about a baseline set up will not be good for sprints.
Sprint car irl lock to lock is about 1.5 turns. 100 on range gets jt pretty close
Nice
Great info...Great game...Turning the (awesome) announcer off is a must. Too much, makes me crazy!

the video is all messed up cant see nothing but a bunch of lines
just doesn't work with the midgets trying to find the perfect setting for chili bowl
Sprints def need different settings than this.
