I love this live version because he only has the instrumental track playing in the back, without the vocals, he (and his buddies) is actually singing the track. Something you don't really see anymore with the big names like 50 Cent, Kendrick, etc. Mad Respect!
My god 50s lives piss me off when he lip syncs the chorus instead of just singing them and it's not like he can't sing them he can very well. Don't get me started on yayo that loud mouth shorting over 50 whe. He's rapping but u can't hear him over yayos shouting.
I was there. Biggie throw his water bottle at the DJ because he said the DJ kept messing up. I always wonder if that was part of the act. From my angle I could see Faith standing on the side, backstage wearing a tacky ass gold plastic bra, with her gut hanging out hah....I still think this was the most solid line up. Naughty By Nature, Jodeci, Warren G, Biggie, Luniz, but Doug E. Fresh went on early and destroyed on a level I've never seen before. He stole the show....I forget who was suppose to close the show cause it got cut off early because Too Short and his crew stormed the stage from the stands and a brawl broke out. KMEL said that they were going to boycott Too Short. That lasted for about a month. Great show overall though, and I'm glad I went. I got to see Biggie.
+Tony Trill I would love to say it was amazing, but to be honest, at the time, Biggie wasn't the legend he is today, so the crowd was kinda dead. His performance was uneventful. He didn't stand out, besides throwing the water bottle at his DJ. He had to follow Dougie Fresh who absolutely killed it, went into the stands, way up to the lawn section while beat boxing the whole time. Dougie destroyed. Anybody going on after Dougie kind of had a hard time, until Naughty By Nature and Jodeci went on way later after the sun went down. But I'm glad I got to see Biggie, I feel very lucky to do so.
Jason Downs It was the Bay Area All Stars/ Luniz/Dru Down forgot who else were supposed to perform 5 On It remix which was the anthem that year. I was there too and remember shit just stopped and everyone after awhile started leaving. On the way out I saw a big ass group mobbing through like they were gonna or just fucked someone up and in the middle was Celly Cel didn't recognize anyone else. Remember getting there and had to wait in a long ass line and was pissed cuz I heard JT the Bigga Figga doing Game Recognize Game fucken missed it.. Biggie went off...

Ha, yeah, I remember a mob just running through beating some dude up bad. I was on the first section and I could see all the way up in the lawn seats a guys t shirt soaked in blood.... I remember Rappin' 40 did Playa's Club...So we're you able to see Biggie, if so what did you think?
I was in 9th grade at this show... I remember record scratching and messing up and him leaving the stage early. Later on finding out about beef behind stage.
I was there also. I remember watching Short Dog walking around with his entourage. From what I remember, he wasn't invited and he was upset about the Luniz' lyrics. And a brawl ensued. Biggie was the highlight for me right in front of Dougie Fresh. I also remember Naughty by Nature, the Luniz, and Jodeci. Bone Thugs n Harmony were supposed to be there but I think a family was killed?.. not sure but I was very disappointed they weren't there.
You can get the mixtape of his live performances "Biggie Live" from Datpiff.com or probably other mixtape websites. There's even a performance of BIG and Pac doin Party and Bullshit together.
