My favorite lipstick is the Burt's Bees matte crayon in Rosewood Forest and I believe that is a shade that would suit you and that you would enjoy. The formula is beautiful and moisturizing.

the bronzer thingy that you passed is my fav everyday highlighter. I would say that it's more like a highlighter than a bronzer. It's dewy and I would say it's quite similar to glossier haloscope in topaz.
It does look looks like Topaz! I have topaz and never use it though so I decided to just return the Burt’s bees one

I’ve seen Burt’s Bee’s makeup sold at most of the drugstores near me: Target, Walmart, Rite Aid, etc. Hope that helps. Also I feel like if it’s found in the drugstore section of Ulta, I consider it drugstore. Lol

Burt’s Bees is sold at Fred Meyers but I’m not sure if you have that in NC. The glow is definitely from the highlight stick - it’s supposed to be more of a glow from within type of thing than straight up shimmer disco ball kind. It looks gorgeous on you. Everything else looks great too.
I think Bert's bees were making it clear that they aren't for women of color. Honestly trying to wear clean make up is hard for me on a very strained budget because most brands aren't inclusive and I'm not the darkest shade. In regular brands I am usually in the medium deep range as the first or second shade or the medium as the last shade. So it's hard because I have to slowly buy high end products that will have my shade and there aren't many budget friendly brands like this one that consider woc
lush is eco friendly makeup but it is a little pricey but it’s really good for the environment and i’m 99% sure they have a bunch of shades for deeper skin tones!
Cheekbone Beauty is an indigenous beauty brand that might have a shade you'd like (they aren't for white women tho).
I actually stan burts bees skincare like for sensitive skin the cleansers amazing ‼️💕

I’m SO glad you mentioned it. I agree that the clean beauty brands don’t consider the woman of color. I just tried a few brands’ foundation shades in their darkest and it’s waaay too light in color. And my skin is even a light tan and the darkest doesn’t work. 😏 It leaves me so sad. I guess they’ll get it soon. ✊🏽 Thank you, Girl, for thinking of us WOC. 😕 I truly appreciate your reviews. 💜

Couleur Caramel is very inclusive of different shades apparently, also sustainably packaged in cardboard, but for quite natural makeup and with a not really big selection of products in general.
I found them via a German youtuber that used their bronzer and wanted to try them eversince because of their sustainable packaging, but I'm probably too light-skinned.

The second you put the lipstick on I’m like “that looks just like Leo” it looks so good! How did it wear throughout the next couple hours?
It wore ok! It was a bit drying but a little bit of lip balm overtop would fix that. But the gen g lipsticks are like that too!
I recommend you try Beauty Bakerie, it is owned by a beautiful black woman and they have shades for everyone from pale to dark. Also their products are amazing quality, and affordable👌🏻

Have you ever considered doing a full face of glossier dupes with only Colourpop products? Not to make you buy a lot of stuff again, but whenever you might feel like it, I think it would be super helpful for someone starting out who likes glossier but maybe wants to dupe it with cheaper products.
I already got my package of everything this week :) I plan on filming the full face of colourpop this weekend then hopefully the colourpop vs glossier the following weekend! Lots of good stuff planned

i love the bronzer stick as a shimmer shadow for my eyes. i love it as that but not for bronzer. it helps if you warm it up on the back of your hand before using it.
