Has to be said-Stratford Paddock is the only channel I watch religiously. You guys are absolutely killing it lately, and this addition of Laurie proves exactly why!
What a brilliant signing getting Laurie on regularly. That being said, Laurie is one of a few Utd journalists I'll take time out to listen to. Well done fellas.
@@FatJavHe’s not had much of a reason to go after them. Unless you have a major gripe with anything they have done? The old regime would have waited far too long and probably would have taken Ruud on based on hype and lost out on Amorim. There’s no sense in going after Ineos when he wants to keep a good connection and earned sources inside the club on side.
It says a lot about the quality of this fan channel versus some others that Laurie would agree to be a regular inclusion moving forward. Excellent work guys!
I disagree Stretford padock is just aligned with the mainstream media view. I think mainstream journalists do have an agenda and are mainly make problems for Manchester United. I'm not critising or hating I like this Channel but Laurie Whitwell has a right to a opinion and should be listened to but just because he has got a degree and a journalists job doesn't mean his opinion is grown up or right.
@Laurie is not someone I’d say “makes problems for United” although I agree many do. The fact he has actual contacts and is respected in the field is a big deal.
@@katherinemiller7570 what 😂😂😂. Doesn’t mean it’s grown up or right. Either you think it’s grown up and correct or it isn’t. Surely you make an opinion on what you hear him say and not based on what he does for a job?
Stratford Paddock and Talk of The Devils are the two top United shows. Proper fans, no performative melts, and a serious love for the club and professional content! Really excited to have Laurie on regularly as well. Keep smashing it lads.
I like those two shows as well, I think together they give a good balance. Howson and McKola are good fun to watch even if you don't always take them too seriously. Andy Mitten on TOTD is fantastic.
@@alexmetcalfe7419 yeh, you don't have to enjoy him, I'm agreeing he's performative, not arguing with you. I do though like 5 things and his match reviews, along with his more analytical record videos
Laurie is top tier, and doing a recurring show with him is great news. I for one, loved the amount Ruben was minding his watch. Immediately reminded me of a certain gaffer’s mannerisms
Cracking first show, high bar has been set. Actual news being discussed, facts with common sense aswell as real research. Up the athletic and up the paddock
putting that training video out was genius, at least now he can show the world and no one can say he doesn't have a system. If its fails, its on the players.
SP and UV are the 2 best united channels on you tube. Great banter, proper footy content. Just some genuine lads and lasses that love to talk about united.
Love Paddock. Great mix of insight, news, opinion, humour and tier one access. Laurie is great and Talk of The Devils plus Paddock are no 1. Shout outs to Ste and United People's TV for depth of analysis and production levels though. Every day at least one great piece of content between these channels.
The Nathan salt episode and now this Laurie Whitwell one were both top notch. Glad Laurie is gonna be over on a more regular basis now. More of these guests please.

The primary reason we are half a season behind where we should be is the way the Glazers dragged out the ownership change for a year which meant Barada and Ashworth didn’t arrive until the Summer.
They’ve made decent changes since they came in. Total revamp. INEOS deserve all the praise they get. Remember that Ten Hag wasn’t an INEOS appointment, and they moved VERY fast and secured a top class and in demand manager. I think that’s maybe the reason City kept Pep for another year. They wanted Amorim.
@@Discombobulate453I’ve seen a few Ineos grumbles in the comments. Bit strange. The whole setup has been ripped up and built from the top down, Carrington is being improved, progress on stadium improvements. I’m not sure exactly what they have done to piss people off? Short memories to when there was a massive game postponed due to the real owners. Further away they are from any football or infrastructure decisions, the better.
It’s going to be a long road, but I’m hopeful. Just need to remember where we are starting from. Also having a director of football, a sporting director and a CEO who isn’t a complete spanner isn’t some kind of cheat code for success - it’s what every club has now. It will come down to how good they are at their jobs.
The cheat code to success includes an actual country, oil, a manager the media can’t stop gushing over to criticise and the authorities allowing unlimited spending.
I wonder if Berrada started in July and wanted Amorim. Either the club wanted time to do their research or it was too close to the season for Amorim/Sporting to agree releasing him. They end summer with it in their mind of trying for Amorim again next summer, get through this year with ETH and as some insurance add Ruud in case of emergency. And they realized they couldn't afford to struggle through the season and did what ever they had to to push it through now.
I am from Portugal (Not even a Sporting fan... I am from Benfica) but you talked about CVs so lets tell this... AJAX always had a great academy... when he won those titles he had great players... Amorim worked what he had and never complain... yes Then haag won... he would never won again now... Just let that guy pick up a team and build that from scratch... I love this talks because we are all for football but there is no comparison 🤣
I've been saying since the game against Fulham that Ten Haag would be sacked within two months. I was two weeks out. Nothing had changed. It was still the exact same depressing vibe that was apparent against Wolves on the opening day of last season. The know it all Howson said they wouldn't sack him and he'd get u till Christmas. He asked why would they sack him after giving him a new contract. The guys here echo what I've been saying for months. They went with fan sentiment after the cup win. Any manager coming in after that who started badly and everyone would have gone with the rose tinted glasses and hindsight saying we should have kept Ten Haag. I think INOES made the right decision because now there can't be any of that nonsense. Fans look for reasoning everywhere, and there will ALWAYS be a talking point.
I am confident we have gone for the best guy available. I do believe time will be up shortly for the likes of Casemiro and Eriksen for not having the legs Amorim requires, maybe Maguire too. For the rest it's a clean slate. Impress us.
Why is this the only channel I love, some crazy points but they always say the realistic point as well as what us crazy United fans say. Amorim at the wheel 21 is coming YANITED
The Ugarte signing is the thing that makes me think this was the plan all along; if still not the timing. Erik wanted us to go for the permanent signing of Amrabat. The club said no, and instead chose the guy in that position who had come to prominence under Amorim. Further to that, going for more cbs while keeping the ones we had already, also makes me wonder.
Thanks for the analysis! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Im really curious on how this new system will work, and how long until our wingers update their status on social media about "playing in my original position". 😂 This one is really interesting really.
My biggest concern about completely switching up the system and going to 343 is IF god forbid it doesn’t work out with Amorim we’ve then gotta do a complete overhaul again. Which is the exact thing we’re trying to avoid surely. Too many managers have had to come in and had to get rid of/buy players to fit their system, only to find out it doesn’t work. Atleast wirh a 4231 even if we change some of the personnel the basis remains the same. 343 is a complete shift from that and a big commitment
The only two players that get regular minutes at United that aren’t suited to Amorim’s system are Casemiro and Eriksen and it’s mainly due to their lack of intensity, they can do a job of the bench.
i dont give a toss what case thinks. he should never had been a utd player in the first place if we had a serious management. he will be gone by the summer. im always scared whenever i remember case is a player in my midfield.
yeah, can't wait for him to go. 6 months of great performances and other than that ridiculous amount of mistakes and inconsistency plus he was definitely undermining manager. Just because guy never played under coach with modern, pro-active approach doesn't mean Ten Hag's methods were wrong. Im not sure how Amorim will play high intensity football with him.
Fletcher should be gone dead wood job for the boys just like remaining ambassadors. Clear out. Clear the injury prone players paid off by Glazers. New players paid by Ineos. The remaining players Glazers recruitment paid off in Summer replaced by Ineos.
