For people watching this and as an Aussie, it’s not rugby, it’s rugby league. There is a massive difference. Although he could have played both games. Still massive differences. I want to add, in rugby league, every single teams training involves boxing and wrestling training. Tai had also excelled. It’s a part of there training to implement tactics for tackling opponents
The ref didn't call it, and the ref is the one who deducts points, not the judges. Not a great situation for sure - if blows to the back of the head were treated the same way as 12-6 elbows or grounded knees a lot of MMA matches would probably have ended differently. For example in Dustin Poirier's second fight with Eddie Alvarez, Eddie had Dustin in an awful position until he threw a 12-6 elbow. This caused the fight to reset on the feet and Dustin pretty much immediately obliterated Eddie's entire face, winning the fight by KO. Now imagine Ciryl Gane's back-of-the-head blow to Tai Tuivasa had been treated that way - Tai might have (though probably not) won the fight. EDIT: lol I just checked and it was actually the same ref in both fights, Marc Goddard
Love Tuivasa, but he just got exposed once again Saturday night. He's 8-5 in the UFC and the only guy of significance that he's beaten in five years is a Derrick Lewis. The Russians have his number and there is no way in hell he's gonna beat technicians like Gane or Stipe, and even a raw Francis will crush him. And a wrestler like Curtis Blades will have a field day with him. He'll enjoy a nice career, make some money, and I'll root for him all the way, but barring a complete collapse of the heavyweight division, he'll NEVER be champ.

Tai is who I think of when I hear the word "Heavyweight"
What a monster!
*EXACTLY* 😎👍
Great profile video man! This guy is great. Going to be watching for his fights.
3:20 the way he held back that last punch tells you a lot about tai
But you didn’t see all the times where he did hold back? So I guess the one time he held back doesn’t really say that much.
Before he lost his purity
Always so well narrated!! Thank you!
That double kick to a knee and an uppercut combination was so perfectly done.
💯 Tuivasa portrays how most Samoans are, heart of warriors that fight till the death. 👊🏼🦁🇼🇸
Proud to be a Aussie . Your a legend.
He's not an Aussie. He's clearly an islander, even if he lived here. He flies the Flabba Babba Wabba Noongar flag, not the Aussie one. We don't need to latch onto imports who wouldn't even raise our flag, to feel proud of our Aussie heritage. Dude probably calls Australia Day "invasion day"
@@dwillbecancelledsoon4086 hell yea man! Nice fucking pfp 14.88
All of America and UFC love this guy he just is a superstar waiting to happen can't wait till it becomes champ.
Sergei Pavlovich is going to drop this dude
@@HonkeyKong54 Why be an agrivator?
@@HonkeyKong54 no one is immune to involuntary snoozing from being chonged by a Tui bomb. All it needs is one and your claim is not such a sure thing
Hes not gonna be the Champ... Ever.
in what world do you ever see him beating Francis?
This man is the best example of "Don't judge a book by it's cover"😂😂😂
So proud of Bam Bam !! He shows the kids of Western Sydney to never give up on a dream, believe in yourself, always remain grounded and never forget where you came from. I hope he one day becomes the UFC Heavyweight Champion but If not we are going to be proud anyways. Great sportsman who always shows sportsmanship 💯👍
Can’t wait for a huge comeback from this guy. Cardio training and he’s an even better beast.
Guys,
YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
@@Praise___YaHAmen my brother,
all Glory be to Jesus Christ ❤️🙏
@@tigregonzalez6924
NO sir, this is what I said
YaH is The Heavenly Father
YaH arrives via the TENT OF MEETING
YaH was Who they Crucified for our sins
** NO FEMALE INVOLVED WHATSOEVER **
- Ancient Semitic Cuniform of Moshe (Moses)
- Hebrew Book of Isaiah (The Original Isaiah)
Isaiah 42:8
"I am YaH; that is my Name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.
Isaiah 43:11
I, I am YAH, and there is no other Savior but Me.
Isaiah 45:5
I am YaH, and there is none else.
@@Praise___YaH you've said it yourself, YOU said THAT, but the scriptures say, not me,
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
@@Praise___YaH with all due respect brother everything you just stated sounds like what MAN said, but the scriptures are the word of God,

Skilled strong fighter, who can take it as well as he can give it.
Big Respect to Tai Tuivasa and thank you Vote Sport.
Respect he give to his opponents is AMAZING 💪💪
This is one of the favorites for me that you've done. Thx for the hard work and a great watch.
5:20 the way he waited to place that knee that was epic..
Wow imagine where he would be if he took his strength and conditioning/weight seriously and started fighting in grade school like most of these guys….. He’s all natural talent no fear so sick
Didn't Jon Jones start fighting at 19-20
Jon Jones shouldnt even be in the conversation, the guy literally gets the fail from USADA state commisions and UFC moves the fight to another state (Arizona) so he can fight while ON steroids, not having benefit of but currently ON. And thats just what they can find.
wow that flying knee though perfect timing no cap unbelievable for a big boy this man is dangerous
bruh how u only have 150k subs. this is better than any espn or fox sports what have you NETWORK production. your commentating is sharp, short and to the point telling us exactly. you clip up the clips perfectly. bravo good sir.
3:20 I'm as impressed by his control to stop ( see he pulls his follow up) after that elbow strike .. as that elbow strike itself.
Let's be honest though.
His leg kicks take so many blokes out
First time seeing Bam Bam fight. Wow! Devastating kicks, elbows and fists. Lots of great MMA fighters. This guy is definitely one of them. 👍
Calm down buddy...
" He stole his first car at seven "
What kind of fighting resume is that ?
WTF....
Awesome upload man
Love this guy. A Mark Hunt for the new generations.
Why was the other fighter allowed to hammer fist the back of Tai’s head at 18:59? Shouldn’t he have lost a point?
He is so respectful for not having a martial Arts background. Good on him. Great fighter!!!
Jeez imagine how good he’d be if he dieted and stayed in shape
I hope he gets the title one day bro he deserves it
Love Tuivasa, but he just got exposed once again Saturday night.
@@bruisersdilemma354 yea I just saw it was sad to watch it just wasn’t his night you hate to see it but man that’s the fight game it’s so brutal and unforgiving
Nah too many big boys at the top, they can run circles around him. He would need to trap and wrestle which won't happen, good brawler though
Rugby is the secret MMA base they dont want you to know about
definitely
the look in his eyes says he is fighting for life.
Tai is pure entertainment... and that is ALL that matters, he'll be a legend by the time he retires!
Great athlete indeed and down to earth dude. Hope he becomes champion one day.
"The frenchmans kicks pierced Tais fast food armor" haha, i laughed long and hard.
Superb watch. Thank you!
1:20 Well, let's be honest. A "180-degree turn" from rugby is not martial arts. A 180deg turn from rugby would be an accountant, tax preparer, librarian, etc. 😁😁😀😀😂😂
The first sentence and im already dead. "Despite looking like a burger exterminator" 😂😂
A rugby player ..
That is his biggest advantage the man is a rock , no show fighting just raw power 💪🏽
