Lol .. they found a bunch of glam rock singles at a boot sale and an old copy of Jackie and thought that might work. Trouble is The Glitter Band were original with their own sound. Someone tell this lot that’s the idea, originality.. it’s alright being influenced by something but this is just lazy copying. Nice try though.
So you think that Art is unaware about his influences? Lol. Try reading/listening to his interviews because there is no suggestion on his part that he is being entirely original. If you like the song then great. But to try to put it out there that his creativity is 'lazy' because it is not entirely original is misses the plot and, moreover, it is really insensitve. Maybe think about giving the compliment before you make the entiely unoriginal criticism.
@@freedombemine5920 fair point, I was wrong to say lazy. I’m sure great effort was put in to making it sound exactly like the Glitter Band. Probably using pro tools or something. Happy to compliment the musicianship, far more than I can manage. But still prefer the originality of the Glitter Band .. good luck to Art anyway, in the record business it is extremely tough to be successful
@@rugtop880 they use a completely analog process in the recording process. Pro tools, sure, but no "protools" here man.
