This should be shown in every high school history class. This man is knowledgeable and entertaining plus he has a message that seems to be missing these days.
I could listen to this gentleman all day. I was lucky enough to have a grandfather who served in world war 2 and I cherish the stories he would tell me. God I miss him! What an amazing generation!
🇺🇸🇺🇸Thank you so much for your service. I have my grandpa’s U.S. Army hat with me and his triangular American flag with me that was folded at his funeral. You have the exact same hat that my grandpa put on!🇺🇸🇺🇸
As a fellow Italian American I can not be more proud of your service, thank you for our freedom! My grandad was in World War One and my father in law World War Two, you are truly the greatest generation!
Thank you Vinny. It's 12:09 the day after Veteran's Day. I stayed up to watch this. God bless you and your family. AMERICA WAS MADE BY YOU....and I'm so scared we're losing Her.
Wow... when he talks about bringing friends over for dinner and his mom asked about how many made it back and he was the only one; I can’t imagine the pain. This generation was something else and unfortunately most of them are gone
Sir i will go to battle with you anywhere anytime!!! Respect from Romania!!! I pray God will give you a good place in heaven to drink your famous beer and to tell your wonderful stories!
I can't believe they put a time limit on this gentleman when his own time on this earth is limited. All the riches in this world won't be able to buy us the possibility to hear him speak again once he passes.
I hope one day Vincent reads this and knows he is one of my few hero's, He held his head high while the whole world was sinking into the mud and the blood. You inspire me to be a better man and thank you for leading the way AIRBORN RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!
Thank you for your service. R.I.P. .Hero ..what a great story teller you were. Sad we are losing these men . But it’s good to have their stories on record like this
Amazing love hearing this guy speak. God bless these men. Gave so much at such a young age for this country. I salute you sir. God bless. God bless America.
Thank you for your service and sacrifices for freedom against a hostile threat to our nation and our freedoms. All we have is because of your sacrifices for us and future generations.
These are the guys we should pay the multi million dollar checks too these are the one that we should call celebrities the ones we should grow up wanting to be like...
These fellas from the 101st were all such good storytellers. I imagine you get that way when people have been asking you questions about the war for so many decades. good video.
God hearing him speak reminds me of my Grandfather talking about his brother who served during the opening stages of ww2 in the asian theater. it made me smile tbh.
It was my Honor to meet Vinny at FTCKY during one of the reunion ceremonies. Walking cane and cigar in hand you Never had to ask during which War he had served with the 101st. I related to him the story of my father having served during the Battle of The Bulge. Reminding him that had he and his 101st friends NOT been in the battle I would probably NOT be standing in front of him that day. He was very humble and said some didn't even have weapons or ammo. They took it off the shell shocked guys leaving the battle area when their trucks showed up. Try sending a Soldier into battle TODAY with just a bayonet....Airborne are a different breed. God Bless you Vinny.. "CURRAHEE"
I am so thankful to Almighty God for using men like Paratrooper Vince Speranza to fight in WWII for not just keeping America free, but to liberate many of the World's Humanities from tyranny and oppression. Truly America and the Allies didn't go there to conquer; but to Liberate! May God bless our still living WW2 Veterans. May those that have passed on rest in peace!❤🙏🪖
OMG!!! Why didn't I know about this??? Me, the Military Services Acct Mgr??? and military historian??? Which office was this presentation done at??? My uncle on my mom's side served with Vince during WWII, exact same unit. It would have been so awesome to have been able to sit down and talk with him!! If you ever have him back, if he's still alive, I need to know about this!!! Bill
1:00 "Pay ATTENTION!" 2:04 "1941" 2:48 "we we're outraged"(like 911)... 3:45 "we we're deathly afraid that we we're not going to get to ukraine!" 4:10 Finally 5:30 family... Don't shame the family... 7:00 "qualified" fort Benning. 8:30 view from the ground. Edit (hold for logic/evidence)
The most valuable information is "my family came here with nothing" like thousands of people that come here everyday. If you concentrate on the few folks that are not good people instead of the people that want to come here for a better life. His parents didn't speak English but it didn't keep them from being good Americans!
Dislikes are probably 50 cent army, the ccp internet trolls do everything they can to disparage patriotism and democracy. And the thing is regular Chinese citizens are denied access to youtube and other social media. The ccp uses our freedom against us, so don't get sucked in when you read a remark trashing America, it's likely a ccp government worker who gets paid for every reply.
With my greatest respects sir - from a vet. I was only cold war - nothing like what you faced.
Never discount your service. We all fought, just against different hells. A mental battle can be just as powerful as a physical.
RIP legend

This man is a true American gem. I follow him every few weeks and I pray there's a new video on UA-cam
The man is a legend who's doing everything while he still can for us.
I met him in 2015 when my unit put on a military ball. It was an honor to sing with him blood on the risers.
Cool this is the first
Loved this! it was an honor to meet this gentleman and get his book. Thank you for your service, Mr. Speranza. We at QTC loved having you.
He is so eloquent. I too could listen to him all day. He might never estimate how much he is honoring his fallen comrades with this. Hats off to him!
😭❤😭God bless the people of Bastogne for embracing the 101st 😭❤😭
🇺🇸🇺🇸Thank you so much for your service. I have my grandpa’s U.S. Army hat with me and his triangular American flag with me that was folded at his funeral. You have the exact same hat that my grandpa put on!🇺🇸🇺🇸

"dont do anything to shame the family" proceeds to be 1 of the most legendary Americans in history
I can watch and listen to Vince all day long and then some
I love listening to wwii vets it always reminds me of when my great grandfather told me stories about his time on the San Diego.
RIP Poppy
He reminds me of my father who was a pilot in USAAF. This gentleman is a real class act. A real New Yorker as is yours truly.
Thank you Vinny. It's 12:09 the day after Veteran's Day. I stayed up to watch this. God bless you and your family. AMERICA WAS MADE BY YOU....and I'm so scared we're losing Her.

Beautiful done, I think Vince will love this.
Amazing, needs to be seen more
God Bless this man and every veteran who saw combat. I’m a Vet but my time in the Marines was uneventful.
Great to hear from this man on the events that he lived through and his story is also very good words of wisdom and historical fact.
I can't believe they put a time limit on this gentleman when his own time on this earth is limited. All the riches in this world won't be able to buy us the possibility to hear him speak again once he passes.
That's why it's important to get these stories on video for generations to come to be able to understand what happened back then
I hope one day Vincent reads this and knows he is one of my few hero's, He held his head high while the whole world was sinking into the mud and the blood. You inspire me to be a better man and thank you for leading the way AIRBORN RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!
st.michael bless this man for his service and may he have great health in the future
He should have been mother freaking President
Thank you for your service. R.I.P. .Hero ..what a great story teller you were. Sad we are losing these men . But it’s good to have their stories on record like this

"CURRAHEE"
He got me good, with the story of his group of 18, I was laughing at that, untill he says none of those boys made it back....
This video should be shown to all high schoolers.
I like Belgium even more now. I must visit some one day.
Thanks for actually mentioning the Canadians.
Thank you Canada...
This man and his comrades should have they’re own section in every history book that’s ever made
Salute to a legend o7
So very young were those Men..

Rest in Peace my friend
Thank you Mr Vincent
THANK YOU..... DES CREAN, BELFAST, IRELAND
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE.
49:00 was a good quote
“My father believed in equal gender deployment.” This guy could have killed it in stand-up. Very well could have been Seinfield’s dad.
Incredible

That is one lucky man. His battle buddies weren't so lucky. We must never repeat world war two.
i have so much respect for this man, you can't count it
"it's been 10 minutes 10 minutes ago."
I found out he was born on March 23rd. That is my birthday as well. March 23rd, 2003 was when I was born. Much respect to Vincent J. Speranza.
1:00 "Pay ATTENTION!"
2:04 "1941"
2:48 "we we're outraged"(like 911)...

Edit (hold for logic/evidence)
Make a movie about him his airborne buddys
The worlds coolest history teacher
Genuine Hero
Wow 19 weeks, and now it's 9 or 10 weeks in 2021 depressing how we dwindle down In the Army. We need to make the Army great again.
it’s 22 weeks
I hope we will become World War 3 veterans in the future so that we can defend our country, religion, and culture🙏
If there where to be a WW3, God forbid, there will be no winners. We will all lose.
Once you get your paratrooper wings pinned on your chest you understand why "Airborne" stands head and shoulders above the rest of the Army!
The most valuable information is "my family came here with nothing" like thousands of people that come here everyday. I felt bad for him when he told the story of the 18 boys. It chocked him up and I don't think he was expecting that.
Love learning about the older generation because they’re literally a living history lesson and the American Dream starting from nothing to something.
No dislikes Just how it should be
Edit: Of course there’s dislikes now
You have to be a uncultured mother...... to do that i hope

the 2 dislikes were germans that got stuck on the fencing
👀😎 thank you sir
🤝😎😭😞
Amen
And what of the leaders that trained them….. and lead them…. That enabled 19yr olds to hold of a panzer army…🤯
So we would have all been speaking German if it wasn't for the Guys, Break Glass in Case of War Guys
After they discovered the concentration camps they didn't take any more prisoners , that was struck deep, Just ordered his book.
They don't make men like this anymore would love to get the book
