Hello friends! Hope you're all having a great week so far! Just want to take the opportunity to shout out Skin Library and Unnie's Skincare has amazing Black-owned K-beauty retailers! What's some K-beauty you're loving right now? I also wanna mention that I applied for 2021's Sephora Squad and I have the link in bio to submit a testimonial if you're down to support me in the running! xoxo
I can't believe how well structured the videos are, how thorough the reviews are and also how lucky we are to find a content creator for us guys with facial hair and skin of colour too. Thank you for your videos this is my go to channel, especially for anything sunscreen.

Thank you! This means a lot to hear. I really appreciate your kind words
Beauty of Joseon serums are my holy grail! When all else freaks my skin out, they are the only ones that brings my skin back to normal. Love love love! I stock up when they go on sale locally. Works amazingly well here in humid Philippines with other products, too!
Beauty of Joseon!!!! Good quality products..very affordable most of them fragrance free and they feel great on the skin 👌....highly recommend... thanks Ramón!!!
Hola Ramón! Looking forward to the sunscreen review. Currently loving the Timeless 20% vit C Serum. I'll never spend more than $20 for a Vit C Serum again! Just an amazing product, clearing up hyperpigmentation and dark spots. I've been using it for a month now.
I love the Beauty of Joseon Cleansing Balm. I prefer it to some of the more popular brands. I have one of their serums and moisturizer but have been saving them until I finish up another product so I should be able to try them out soon.
I am looking forward to trying Axis-Y, especially that duo! I just started using Anua's Heartleaf toner and I LOVE IT. I get clogged pores if a wind blows in the wrong direction, and in the two weeks I've been using it I've noticed fewer and fewer bumps. I love the smell of it too. Adding to cart. Beauty of Joseon is just a reliably great brand. Their ginseng toner, and their AHA foaming toner are standouts (tho the serums are all HG's). The AHA is only 3%, but it's good to my sensitive skin, and that foaming action makes for the easiest application I've yet encountered. Looking forward to your brand review.
Not heard of skin library, I was looking for Keep Cool sheet masks cause they are beautiful and I saw it then came on here and found you, so happy I did ❤
I have been waiting on this review for Beauty of Joseon. I'm loving Cosrx and Holika Holika. Just did my Naturium and YesStyle haul last week and it felt good.
I hate to sound basic but cos rx is always there for me especially because I have dry/sensitive skin and there products or so user friendly. Ive also been loving Peach and lily! I ordered the calming serum from Beauty of Joseon and Im so excited

CosRX ain’t basic! That makes complete sense and they’re such a great brand
Would like to see some explanation on vegetable and grain ingredients some brands use and if they actually do anything

That’s not a bad idea for a video! Anything in particular? I know I mention a lot of things like ‘artichoke’ and whatnot, but anything in particular you’d want me to look into?
I was looking at the Axis-Y website the other day but was not sure of what should I buy. Perfect timing of you to post this video! Can you do a sunscreen review video on UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 by EltaMD and Colorescience's Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 (PA+++) ?
I’ve only tried the Beauty of Joseon products on this video, the repair serum specifically. I’d like to try the calming serum and the ginseng essence. I don’t have a K-Beauty favorite yet, but I’ve bought several products from Klairs and only been disappointed with one. Side note: Are you going to try the Fenty Body sauce?
Would you recommend using the propolis serum in the morning or at night? I'm so pressed for time in the morning but I'm not sure if it's giving me the glow I'd like while I'm sleeping haha. Do love the texture though and it is hydrating without being sticky!
3 роки тому+1
Either works great, but nighttime is great. Layer it with your other products and the ingredients can do the work on your skin while you sleep
I do the propolis serum at night, and the calming one in the morning to up the antioxidants and anti-irritation. I'm pressed for time in the mornings, too, so I usually just splash water, Calming serum, then sunblock. If I get a little extra time, I add the Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner before the Calming serum. I make sure that my morning products are those that quickly absorb into my skin.
@@angelkaye1982 I actually also try to use the isntree green tea toner in the morning as well as a vitamin c serum before sunscreen but some days I'm lucky to just get sunscreen on haha. Thanks for the tip though! I haven't noticed a huge difference while I've been using the propolis serum but the ingredients are so good. I want to try the calming one as well, I have redness prone skin.
@@jesscaw04 totally agree! If I am just working from home with minimal exposure to sun, I do the toner, but if I need to leave the house, I do a separate vit. C product before sunscreen and skip the toner. I never have more time to do more than those three steps 😆 I notice more results when I am more consistent with my routine. It took just under a week of EVERY👏SINGLE👏NIGHT👏AND👏DAY use of Calming and Repair just to see some healing on my nose area (I over exfoliated 😩). But boy, was it worth it!!
@@angelkaye1982 consistency is where I struggle but it's a work in progress! I have the calm serum sitting in my cart on yesstyle but I really don't need to buy anything else haha
Thanx for an amazing review! I am a major Beauty Of Joseon fan! Love the Repair and Calming Serums, as well as the Dynasty Cream, which works awesome as a night moisturizer, along with their Sleeping Pack. And a question for you... Have you tried Ti'am products? So amazing, and great pricing!! Cheers!
Do you think the axis y cleanser would remove mineral sunscreen?
3 роки тому+2
If it’s not water resistant, I don’t see why it wouldn’t. It’s done well washing away chemical sunscreens with light makeup, but as I mentioned, you need like 6-7 pumps of this one to equal 2 pumps of another cleanser just because it dispenses so little. It’s a nice texture and cleanser though
why that Axis-Y Artichoke Intense Skin Barrier Ampoule look different color i found 2 different color one green another one is blue .can you tell me why it looks blue?/?/?
I want so bad the axis-y serum but it contains a essential oil. As its the last ingredient i don't think it will be bad. Ramón, sweetie, the product has a strong smell of the rosemary essential oil?
Hi ramon! Just wanna ask about axis-y physical sunscreen. Since the korean sunscreen controvery, is their sunscreen doing what it claimms to be doing? Like is it really spf 50+ pa++++? Would really love to try this out
Hi Ramón! A youtuber claimed on its instagram that retinoids are alcohols and that's why it can be irritating. Is it really true? I thought it was because it increases cell turnover. I would love if you shared your opinion 🙏🏻

Oooooh that’s really not the case at all? I’m not trynna start anything, but WHO?

Retinol is the alcohol form of vitamin A, but it’s not exactly a similar concept to like, denatured alcohol. All retinoids are irritating primarily for the reason you mentioned
Their “calming” serum made my skin red the next day (I applied at night) Im guessing its the sugar cane in it? Or the bataine salicylate?
3 роки тому
It could be a lot of factors! It kinda comes down to individual skin sensitivity. Did you notice any burning along with it? Have you used it repetitively and had the same result?
I love this! Random question. Does Betaine Salicylate count as an exfoliation step when it’s in a formula? I always get confused if I should be wary using this in formulations alongside say, tretinoin and azelaic acid. Thank you for sharing these goodies! ✨

You should be fine to use it w tret/aze bc that's a a way gentler form of salicylic acid. But it all depends on your skin.
