Every California resident who operates any motor vehicle must have a driver license or learner’s permit. The DMV written test covers the contents of the California DMV Driver’s Manual. It contains questions on California road signs, traffic laws, and rules of safe driving. The California DMV motorcycle written knowledge test consists of 60 questions. To pass the CA DMV test, you must correctly answer at least 48 questions (80%). Practice with this sample test to familiarize yourself with the format of the California driver's license test.
I just passed my test today! 80% of the questions on the test were found directly in this video. I watched this video twice the week before I took it, and I flew through it. You can do it! Good luck.
Awesome man, I’m super nervous and this was a bit comforting
congrats! what state?
thank you
While there’s things that are missing such as the diagrams this is still a VERY helpful video and I appreciate the fact it was made and is available for free on UA-cam, thank you
Question 48 and 53 are wrong. 53 the answer is 2 second based on the DMV handbook.
Agree. Question 48 should be apex. Question 53 should be 2 seconds. Still happy the video exists but they should do some Quality checks.
@@danielgrube9819 Agree....48 is not listed correctly...answer should be apex
I think the handbook was talking about distance from other motorcycles 1 sec distance diagonally and 2 sec distance from who’s in front of you when riding in a group
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I'm glad that I looked at the comments.. I'm about to take my test coming up on Monday but let's remember these are from year 2016 2019?.. in any case three or four years away from 2024
Note: some questions at the DMV are with Photo and you have to respond to scenarios not all questions is multiple choice like practice test or the test at Motorcycle Training Course.
Just passed my M1! A lot of these questions were on there! Thanks for the help! 😊
Wait for real? What did you use to help you study bro?
@@alfafernandez1183 I just listened to this video on repeat until I remembered each answer re-listening to it. That and skimming through the DMV handbook.
Dope dude, I’m taking mine Friday
@@crazyhorse851did u pass?
@@MRIManprolly not😂
Thanks for the video. I passed with flying colors.
Thank you all ❤ LOVE IT
Thank you!!
thanks
Thanks for the video but i think your wrong about question 48. the middle of the curves name ... Entry would mean the begging and exit or end would be proceeding out of the curve so apex would be right i looked it up online and it said the same thing if im wrong plzs dont hesitate to correct me
I thought the same thing. the middle of the curve would be the apex
Very helpful passed after studying these videos and another UA-camr.
what was the other youtuber? how are each videos similar?
I am also curious who the additional youtuber is. Either way, it seems the recent responses is that these questions were not at all on the recent tests, but I am hoping it sill helps with the material.
@@hennizommer4578have you taken the test yet?
Great job I learn a lot. Thanks for your support. 30:29 30:31
shouldn't the middle of the curve be the APEX?
that's what i thought as well, her explanation of the different parts where correct and the wording of the answer even made it seem like it was supposed to actually be apex
There are many videos that say the middle of the curve is the apex.
I practiced all the test, and I found that the questions where on the test, maybe worded a little differently. I passed no problem with almost a perfect score.
Hi today I passed my motorcycle test thanks for you help 😂
I passed today!! 🎉 don't think any of these questions were on my test tho 😅
should Q48 answer be B.apex? since it is the sharpest part of the curve.
I thought the same lol
I've been riding motorcycles for 50 years but I can't pass the written test
Big Mike!?
Does anyone know if I can take the M1 knowledge test online or I have to go to DMV to take it? TY
I watched both motorcycle and car written test . I’m literally waiting for my call up but I went over this a few days ago …just hoping these all the ones I may get asked
Any luck?
I got my own luck tbh …and 6 weren’t on there …that it asked multiple tips …I had no idea .. I took it 3x same session
Thumbs down the video tbh
There is several questions that are not related to Dmv test not sure where you got this written test from its not Good Ad on questions confuse Rider that don't apply to actual test I'm going ignore half of this I'm stick to handbook instead everyone plz ignore this confusion 🤔😏
just took the test today. questions were not even close. thankfully they give you 3 tries. I passed on the 2nd, making it a point to remember the ones I missed the first try
I find some of these question contradicting the DMV study guide.
There's NOT a single question from this today as of Jan 26th, 2024. This needs update.
this is for California test,, pretty much the same questions when i took the test..
I’m in Cali and dmv said only 25 questions
I thought it was only 25 questions, too? Anyone confirm how many questions they had?
@@rayrayk7458 took test a couple of days ago and failed with out reading the hand book, so thats why im on here watching. ;this video almost identical to the test i took.
If wants to study for the written test, please write it all down and the explanations too. It will explain itself. It will come in handy to study and understand why it is.
I just took the test and literally none of the 60 questions are on the official one. It’s still helpful to know these but make sure to study the actual handbook as well for more updated information.
Hi do you know any Spanish version?
is this the same as the 2024 one
Some questions were worded different. some had photos
Just FYI:
Question #47 sounds wrong and is sort of counter intuitive but it is actually correct.
Welp. This wasn’t 100% helpful but I think it was good source of Material that helps. But I’d still recommend just reading the handbook.
Watch like 2 30 mins videos like this and read the handbook and took test next day and passed 🎉🎉🎉
spend a bunch of time watching this video, and none of the questions was in the test , failed it
Be careful! A lot of these are wrong. I'm at the CA DMV right now with the handbook in front of me.
Incorrect. Only 2 of them are wrong. The apex one and the 2 seconds one.
In seconds what is a following distance that generally provides enough time to stop or swerve in an urgent situation? Answer is 4 seconds. Then you say "at speeds below 70 mph it generally takes 4 to 5 seconds to stop. So that extra second, whats that for. My guess is to die. Im not taking that chance.
most of these questions are contingent on the situation. Clutch is pulled for changing gears, or slowing down, or speeding up. wtf.
It really sucks that I have to do that..
Just failed my motorcycle test.
Thumbs downed.
Do not use this to study.
Do not rely on this video alone, it lacks a lot to support your knowledge to answer the diagram questions.
I have a question , help me understand something, why does the DMV give licenses when they don't even teach you how to drive, they don't teach you the rules of the road, like question 4 about the alcohol answer C sounds reasonable but what's important is are drinking hard liquor , are they drinking a stout, a double IPA,, for example question 3 , 10% has there been studies that the DMV can prove with facts and evidence that's 10%>> or is the dmv presuming ?
This isn’t like the dmv test at all
SHANNIN DEEP POOOD
This video doesn't cover any of the diagram questions and missed alot of other questions. Don't make these videos unless your willing to go over all of the potential questions. Your setting people up to fail.
Agreed! Just took the test today and got 100% by watching these videos: ua-cam.com/play/PLTVKJmzVxiWDFNIZ2JnHhYrlFw361T-lX.html
thank you nite owl
@@niteowl9733thanks got that today
@@niteowl9733 i don't really think they should since there are more than 500 questions and they ask in different ways every single time
Same. I had so many questions not covered.
