I learnt a lot from you.I tried stiching small pieces of cloth,as you taught and made a beautiful mat.Thank youso much.Your obedient student...from India🙏🙏
You inspired me to make a crumb quilt. Cuddled in it right now. It was sooo fun to make. And you taught me the whole way. Was slow at first but once I got some momentum it went fast. And every block was different. It's very warm too. There's a lot of fabric in it. lol
So looking forward to seeing your new crumby video's :) I originally found your site in a crumby search and have looked forward to your video's ever since:)
I like the name (crumb crazy ) I use to cut fabric at a quilt fabric store ,we would" have to " lol ,straighten the edge of new bolts ,( straight into my scrap pile for the day ... We cut and shipped to all over the planet ,trust me when I say doing that for 8 hours everyday there are a lot of beginnings and ending of bolts ,and A buttload of scraps I couldn't live without Hahahaha . Ok Blah blah blah , Love the crumb crazyz !!!
OMG, I am only into 3:10 minutes of your tutorial and I have already learned another new tip (the pencil thingy). I have to comment on it now--more later!
I also found you while looking for crumb quilts. I'm so excited to have you back again. Oh, and have the comments connected. I had questions, but didn't want to bother you on your personal time. I'll be looking forward to the new quilt. I shop at Walmart usually. I would like to know about what types of batting are used on what type of quilts. What fusing is used on what fabrics to make a memory quilt. At this moment, I'm trying to figure out how to stabilize a t-shirt quilt, and then need to make a sort of memory quilt with a bunch of different materials. Also, I remember in my distant past, that some quilts that have small items like puppy dogs or kites embroidered on, are "wonder-undered, and zig-zagged around" and they somehow look great, like you worked real hard to stuff them to make them puffy. Eventually, I will go back through and see how you measured and cut out 6 in, 10 inch, 12 inch blocks out of a length of fabric. I remember how we used to finagle the pieces of a pattern on our yardage to get the most pattern on the smallest amount of fabric. I just haven't figured out how to fold, measure and cut yet. I like you're "just cut, don't worry, it doesn't have to be perfect" items. I wish somebody had made it that clear when I was sewing for my kids. I sewed for six kids until the oldest was 10 and discovered those skinny jeans that made so many kids have health problems. Then my other kids only wanted jeans, and I couldn't sew those.
Hello peanut gallery! I found some fabric scrap treasures and I'm going to turn those scraps into crazy crumb quilt blocks! Not sure if I will make an actual quilt top, but I'd like to. And then maybe that will appear on ebay. All depends on how it turns out. I hope you follow along to see what I end up making! I might have enough to make several projects. It's going to be fun! I love little scraps, they'd come in handy for handmade ornaments or stuffing. Wish I could take some off you lol. Though I'd also toss the really shredded little bits haha.
Grazie cmnq x i tuoi video👋👋
I know. But I'm tossing them just the same. Been saving shit like that for YEARS with the intentions of using as stuffing. I'm never going to do it. So now I'm tossing so please don't try to stop me. lol Trying to break the hoarding habit.
But now you are making me want to keep those scraps! lol Seriously, I have a very hard time tossing shit. It's a big issue with me. I can hang on to a broken rubber band because it might come in handy. I'll have to try and find someone local who would like the tiny scraps for stuffing. But then... I have to have human contact. So many issues. lol
LOL. Do what makes you feel GOOD! I've followed you long enough to know you don't want or need advice. Could just save it up and then post "hey I have all these shit scraps, would be good for stuffing. You pay shipping". Everybody wins!. Cause I know you have a lot of shit!! :))

Looking forward to your new crumb/crazy project. By the way I love your glasses.
Love your glasses.
Can’t wait!
I suggest that you save the little scraps and use them as stuffing the next time you make a pincushion. At least that's what I do.

I watch you video every night
Money you don,t have to put out. Good for you.
OMG,! Do you have a tutorial on how to sew plus size tops?
I really miss Maine.
All the scraps you would throw away can be used for stuffing in pillows or dog beds that can be donated to shelters :)
I know. But I'm tossing them just the same. Been saving shit like that for YEARS with the intentions of using as stuffing. I'm never going to do it. So now I'm tossing so please don't try to stop me. lol Trying to break the hoarding habit.
