You have to play meta weapons as everything else will put you in a disadvantage. No one in the lobby has anything above a 2 kd. How can anyone even defend such a system? It doesn’t do anything for anyone. Those who want to stomp can stomp even more effective and those who want to casually play will get in sweatfests that all feel the same. Why does a ranked mode exist then, huh? Why? When Pubs is like ranked already, why do you need an additional mode? It’s dumb especially because every cod with less or without SBMM had great lobbies where no one bitched like nowadays. Bo2 is seen as the best Cod ever and it had NO SBMM. The lobbies were organic. That’s how people have fun and improve
Bruv I got easily lobbies at first I was literally destroying the other team with a pistol after that match I realized more sweaty players started to come. Even though I'm not a cod guy but I'm mad at activision for being selfish
The best way to improve at anything competitive is to face people better than you. Something my taekwondo instructor told me when I first started sparring. He and I have sparred for the last 8 years (that’s when I started) and he was absolutely right. By facing someone more skilled I graduate got better
So I can confirm this because once I hit level 20 and about 30 matches in with a KD of 1.30 the lobbies started getting crazy. Still fun but I started getting real sweaty and had to try hard. I do miss the randomness but I also understand what it can feel like when you’re new to the game and get dropped into a lobby with a bunch of savages and get like zero kills.. so I kind of understand why they have SBMM
I really don’t know what to think of it at this point, because xdefiant was supposed to be the cod killer with not having sbmm, but we all know how that’s turned out, people still thinking it’s a sweatfast and it’s about to shut down in the coming months.
Fr, only took 2 matches for SBMM to put me in lobbies where I have to play against GFuel inhaling no life movement sweats with the Jackal PDW. In every lobby I am, no one is able to get a KD better than 2. Went back to BO4 just for old times and it was a whole other world. The lobbies were perfect and you could actually stay in them after a match.
They should just make it a setting in the settings menu that turns it on and off, having it on by default for newer players. This would solve all problems
They have sbmm for that reason, they don’t want new cod players to suffer, even though I get slammed by new cod players all the time and I’ve been playing cod for 14 years
You know why those players in the beginning are having more fun? Because of sbmm. The fact that players can'y even play in the BETA without sweating their asses off is exactly why sbmm exists. People at that level have no intention of "relaxing" in pubs.
Playing witb my friends who are sweaty nerds and kept going like 7-18, 10-21 14-15. Playing by myself 18-9, 17-15 and 32-22 Yeah please brjng back the random lobys
Yeah my friends who are worse than me won't play with me and I understand why! I have one friend who is a 3.8 KD player and his lobbies are the thing of nightmares
If I was in a lobby with people worse than me, I wouldn’t have to sweat my ass off. And it encourages me to use off meta guns (anything but the jackal PDW)
Ok he made a point that sbmm puts you up against sweats if you’re any decent at the game which makes the game unfun but then he says that playing against better players is what made us better at the game lastly he said that the randomness of each lobby is what made the game fun. That is the only point we need to make when it comes to getting rid of sbmm.
1. BO6 is just another minor update CoD like MW 3 2. People compaling about SBMM only hate it because they'd rather complain about it instead of using the system to their advantage. Want easy lobbies? Play chill. Want sweat lobbies? Get good
That actually doesn’t work because I stopped caring about my KD in multiplayer multiple cods ago and it doesn’t lower my SBMM. Call of duty keeps track of your KD, accuracy, win rate, and more from old call of duties. If you were good in MW2019 they slap that on your SBMM. I only care about getting camos in MP now and have a way lower KD than I used to but it doesn’t matter. Maybe because I have 2.25 KD in Warzone
I used to love playing the OG mw2 running around with the USP.45 and tactical knife killing dudes that are 10x my rank. Cause back then rank was your skill level. If your at level 50 and you see 3 or 4 dudes at prestige 3 you try your hardest to slaughter them 😅
Doing something enough will make you better than people who do it less but in the case of competitive games, if your only playing against players in a low skill rank you will most likely stay in that skill rank
I did the same thing, brand new account new email address and the results were shocking: I never and I mean NEVER seen any lobby with really bad player that act like bots since MW2019 before launch. And those were the best games I’ve had since a long time ago
I enjoy my sweaty lobbies… I’ve joined bot lobbies with a few of my coworkers and their lobbies are extremely boring… I’m dropping 40+kills first on the leaderboard and best play. But no where near felt like I deserved it. I’ve been playing cod games since Big Red One in 2005.

Your experience will therefore be the same.
So many virgins are hacking
So I can confirm this because once I hit level 20 and about 30 matches in with a KD of 1.30 the lobbies started getting crazy. Still fun but I started getting real sweaty and had to try hard. I do miss the randomness but I also understand what it can feel like when you’re new to the game and get dropped into a lobby with a bunch of savages and get like zero kills.. so I kind of understand why they have SBMM
Each game of the beta has been more sweaty than a ranked lobby on MW3. It’s disgusting
I really don’t know what to think of it at this point, because xdefiant was supposed to be the cod killer with not having sbmm, but we all know how that’s turned out, people still thinking it’s a sweatfast and it’s about to shut down in the coming months.
so does this explain me fighting the level 1050s in mw3 (im level 28)
Yes
Fr, only took 2 matches for SBMM to put me in lobbies where I have to play against GFuel inhaling no life movement sweats with the Jackal PDW.
In every lobby I am, no one is able to get a KD better than 2.
Went back to BO4 just for old times and it was a whole other world.
The lobbies were perfect and you could actually stay in them after a match.
They should just make it a setting in the settings menu that turns it on and off, having it on by default for newer players. This would solve all problems
They have sbmm for that reason, they don’t want new cod players to suffer, even though I get slammed by new cod players all the time and I’ve been playing cod for 14 years
No SBMM is harder than SBMM though, even if you're good. Unless you're CDL good😂
I swear this every Cod title is ditched because of the sbmm
Year 10 of people crying about a SBMM and the game still tops the charts every year 😂 shut up bozos y’all will eat up anything served to you
Hmm what is that loud popping sound? Ah… must be the wind 🙂
Idk about that i had fun in the beta but in my lobbys there were ppl that played like their lifes were on the line
This explains why it was stable when I first started playing and stedily the server performance got worse
I literally went against a team of people who new how to dodge bullets😹😹😹
You know why those players in the beginning are having more fun? Because of sbmm.
The fact that players can'y even play in the BETA without sweating their asses off is exactly why sbmm exists. People at that level have no intention of "relaxing" in pubs.
This is why i will buy b06 on discount only for zombies
Playing witb my friends who are sweaty nerds and kept going like 7-18, 10-21 14-15.
Playing by myself 18-9, 17-15 and 32-22
Yeah please brjng back the random lobys
Yeah my friends who are worse than me won't play with me and I understand why! I have one friend who is a 3.8 KD player and his lobbies are the thing of nightmares
If I was in a lobby with people worse than me, I wouldn’t have to sweat my ass off. And it encourages me to use off meta guns (anything but the jackal PDW)
I know it’s beta, but I remember seeing somewhere that said Treyarch said they are lowering the sbmm?
Ok he made a point that sbmm puts you up against sweats if you’re any decent at the game which makes the game unfun but then he says that playing against better players is what made us better at the game lastly he said that the randomness of each lobby is what made the game fun. That is the only point we need to make when it comes to getting rid of sbmm.
I have seen so many people defend the sbmm like how much is activison paying you😭😭
1. BO6 is just another minor update CoD like MW 3
@@AscendAR that makes no sense, activision should send a pack of what ever the fuck they're smoking to everyone that buys a cod game😂
@@AscendAR on MW3 i can get sweat lobbies if i try hard for 2 matches or get chill lobbies if i do 0.7KD in 2-3 games and loose. Maybe it's a bug?
Or play the Jackal PDW because you‘ll get steamrolled otherwise.
“want easy lobbies? just intentionally play bad” what shit advice
I remember the first game I did so fucking good. I thought the game was too easy, then after a couple matches I was being sweated on
No bs some mfs legit play as if someone has a gun to their mothers head and the only way she lives is if you win
SBMM is bullshit sometimes, like you win once after losing 50 matches and you get shroud in his prime
the game is too sweaty right now
I did the same thing, brand new account new email address and the results were shocking: I never and I mean NEVER seen any lobby with really bad player that act like bots since MW2019 before launch.
And those were the best games I’ve had since a long time ago
I didn't even know this game had skill base factoring. I just thought everybody was good
I enjoy my sweaty lobbies… I’ve joined bot lobbies with a few of my coworkers and their lobbies are extremely boring… I’m dropping 40+kills first on the leaderboard and best play. But no where near felt like I deserved it. I’ve been playing cod games since Big Red One in 2005.
Blackops 4 was the last good Cod that had no sweaty SBMM just brain dead VMP users.😂
Bring back MW2-3, BO1-2 lobbies
Im more hesitant then ever to buy a cod game nowadays back then I would sell my auntie just to get the nxt cod
SBMM makes a lot of sense to have though
I've been able to tell when they put their thumb on the scale, especially to keep the score even on hardpoint...
If you were sweating you would PROBABLY play more than casuals... and well they want to suck every last bit of your soul and time
SBMM makes you trash, you never get better cuz you always still on "your skill level"
Exactly!
I hate sbmm
Same here! That’s what ranked play is for!
SBMM was horrible for me last night
Bring back casual matchmaking, old school movement (yall know what I fuckin mean) and the pick 10 system. Idk how they don’t notice the decrease of players year after year and don’t see the problems.
Idk about the rest of you but I been getting a lot of randomness in my games
seem like they fix it, but wait for the launch, can't rely on beta to make the final decision.
Realest question I want to ask activision is, why have ranked if every casual match feels like ranked anyway?
I aint even good, and they always stick me in lobbies with sweats
:idea ranking 5 mw19 guns
I was hoping the beta had no sbmm
