    Again, like those colors!
    Will give it a go, also a fan of the snake knot.

    Now that i did two of these in a row, this weave is a whole lot more similar to the classic "Fishtail" pattern than it is to the Snake Knot. In fact, it IS the Fishtail stitch with "a twist", quite literally, between stitches!

    Long time fan of your work. I've probably watched everyone of your paracord bracelets at least once, most twice!
    I really, really like the idea of showing the finished bracelet right at the start of a video. It helps the viewer to determine if they are looking at the right video and doesn't waste their time trying to figure out what the craftsman is trying to do.
    Thanks for doing that this time and I hope that's a part of all your future videos.

    THANKS COOP! Your attention to detail is so great when it comes to classroom teaching when there's no point for questions! You answer them before theyre asked.

    Thanks, J.D. Lenzen for the pattern, thanks, MrCoop for this tutorial. And you're right, the snake knot is a pain but I like it. This tut solves the problem. Thanks again.

    Its amazing how just a slight modification on another design can produce such a dramatically different bracelet. All this is, is a modified fishtail. LOVE IT!! Thanks JD for the design and Thanks Coop for the vid!!

    I may just be picky, Coop, but I reckon that if you're going to finish your bracelet with two Solomon bars you should start it the same way so that the ends are as near identical as possible. That's just me though, picky as I said. :)

    I just stumbled across your videos. I normally watch the bored paracord videos and to be frank, and this is not a slam to other sites but I can not bare the videos with just music and not solid verbal instruction.

      i'm with you, dude, with the sleepy-time vids with just music and no talk!! it's torture! if i want to meditate, it won't be while i'm making a bracelet!

    VARIATION - Althought the initial loops at beginning are an interesting and useful way to hold things down, in this case, it only adds bulk. If you start the weave as if you were doing a "fishtail" pattern, the cords go down and up to cross and back down between each other anyway, it is easy to push up and snug tight and start the V pattern with the very first stitch. Know what I mean? If not, skip the loopy thing at the beginning and just do what you do down the entire length and you'll see what i mean!

    The picture of the bracelet is a fish tail weave

      No it isn't. If you watched the video you would know it isn't a fishtail.

    cool, was wandering how to tie this knot with a jig. I just don't like the square knot at the end, could there be a better way to finish it off ?

    • @bananamonkey1237
      @bananamonkey1237 7 років тому

      Mark Mondaini yes there is, you can just tie a regular knot at the end (in the proper fashion)
