Byaheng Maguindanao Part 1. Getting There. Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Moslem Mindanao (BARMM).

We travelled to Maguindanao via Cotabato City to participate in the Community-based Tourism Marketing Enhancement Program Workshop and Media tour of the Tourism Promotions Board.
On Day 1, we met with some of the officials of BARMM who gave us a briefing on the Bangsamoro history in the Philippines, as well as the structure and composition of the Bangsamoro Government and Parliament.
The trip has allowed to visit some of the comminity-based tourism projects in the region such as the Inaul weavers of Sultan Kudarat, and the Brassware makers and the Water Hyacinth weavers of Cotabato City.
The trip has also allowed to have a deeper understanding of the Bangsamoro, and to experience it rich cultural heritage and the warmth of its people.
