Pasinaya 2025. Celebrating Philippine Culture & Arts. CCP's "Pasinaya para sa lahat".
Pasinaya Festival is the largest national multi-arts festival in the Philippines. Organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines ( CCP), major activities and events are held at the CCP Complex, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines every first week of February.
The festival aims to attract the public, spark their interest in culture and the arts, and unveil a snapshot of CCP’s institutional activities for the rest of the year.
Participants of the festival can donate any amount, a program called see-what-you-can, pay-as-you-can-and they are given access to exhibits, galleries, performances, workshops, tours, and other activities.
Pasinaya Festival comes from the Filipino word pasinaya, which means opening ceremony or debut.
This year's theme is "Pasinaya para sa lahat".
We are sharing with you some of the performances by the Philippine Madrigal Singers, the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philippine Ballet Theater, Bayanihan Philippines, Ballet Manila, the Philippine Suzuki Youth Orchestra and the Philippine High School for the Arts.
We were also able to witness the Opening Program (Panimula), as well as the People's Gala (Pagdiriwang). In between, we were able to visit three museums (Adamson University, Philippine Women's University and the Museum of Contemporary Arts and Designs), witnessed several Philippine Festivals (Magalang's Lubenas and Guiguinto's Halamanan), and heard talks given by National Artist Ricky Lee.
It was indeed a weekend of celebrating the rich arts and culture of the Philippines.

Can a 63-year old senior citizen still climb Mt. Pinatubo? I have climbed Mt. Pinatubo several times, with my first time in Year 2000 when we had to start our trek from the jump-off point in Barangay Sta. Juliana in Capas, Tarlac. At that time, we had to walk the whole stretch for six hours before reaching the Base Camp (at that time, camping was still allowed), camp overnight, and then made th...

I recently booked a flight to Puerto Princesa via Clark International Airport, and I decided to get to the airport using public transportation. Here's a DIY Guide on how I was able to go from Manila to Clark Airport: From Cavite, I went to LRT1 Dr. Santos Station to get to EDSA Station. From EDSA Station, I transferred to MRT to get to North Avenue Station (Trinoma). Upon arriving in Trinoma, I...

The opening of the new Redemptorist-Asean Station of LRT1 now makes it more convenient to visit the Redemptorist Church or the National Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Located right across the Roxas Boulevard, it is now easier to access the Baclaran Church from the station using the newly built pedestrian overpass. This gave us a chance to explore the church more, to know more about its h...

We recently went on a road trip from Pangasinan to Baguio via Marcos Highway, and from Baguio to Sagada via Halsema Highway. The 150-KM Halsema Highway, which is considered by many as the most dangerous road in the Philippines, is still the shortest way to reach Sagada from Baguio City. The two-lane road, despite the many improvements, has more twists and turns than a thousand roller coasters, ...

Hello again i supposed it seems like the IA somehow did not follow the original classical and Renaissance style of the church, they just remade the facade with a new contemporary design
yes, I agree. it was a missed opportunity.
Pano po kayo naka avail ng senior discount while booking online?
when booking online, you will be asked to type in your Senior Citizen ID number, and once you type it discount will be automatically deducted.

Unfortunately as of this Feb 2025, nearing the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Manila and the four demolished churches of Intramuros San Nicolás de Tolentino, San Francisco Church and TVO Chapel, Santo Domingo Church, and Lourdes Church still have not been restored. Despite the efforts to preserve Intramuros' historical identity, these sites remain occupied by these modernistic structures San Nicolás de Tolentino: The Manila Bulletin still operates at the site, continuing its newspaper production without relocating. San Francisco Church and TVO Chapel: Mapúa University remains in the area, maintaining its educational use while renovating its campus over time. Santo Domingo Church: The site is still occupied by BPI's Intramuros branch continuing its bank purposes and a condominium. Lourdes Church: El Manacer buildinf and Illustrado Restaurant still operate there, preserving the space as a tourist attraction. Just no significant restoration efforts have been made even the slightest :(
unfortunately, these structures were abandoned after the war, and were eventually demolished in the 1950s.
yeah its too sad, if they had the chance to restore it but instead well you know becauss of modernization they slap the hell out of the old ruins and built a new soulless structure where it once stood
Oo nga plus bakit hindi maka ano yung IA i relocated at i demolish ang mga establishments diyan sa mga former churches ngayon kaya hindi pwede ulit marebuild? They dont had the political will like that? What else?
Meron po ba sakayan sa Lrt 1 - Mia Station na papuntang terminal 4?
unfortunately, MIA station is not connected to any terminals.
May grab car po sa Clark Airport? :)
I haven't tried Grab at Clark Airport. Not sure if they have. But there is Blue Taxi and Clark Loop bus if you wish to go around Clark. Victory Liner also has hourly trip to Dau Terminal.
Nice sir..❤
thank you!
