@Trevor Moody You needed to watch that in slow motion to notice it's a travel? You probably need slow motion to see the SECOND travel, but you certainly don't need it to see the first. If a player lifts his pivot foot off the ground and then puts it back on the ground without the ball leaving his hand, it's a travel. It's a straightforward rule and not difficult to see at all. You can see Allen picks up his dribble at the free throw line, establishing his right foot as his pivot. He then steps with his left foot and picks up his right foot (a legal move). He then steps with his right without the ball leaving his hand (an illegal move). He then jumps off his right foot, comes back down on his right foot, and releases his shot (also an illegal move). However, that travel is difficult to see live because his foot hits the floor just slightly before the shot is released; you do need replay.

Secondly, even if there wasn’t momentum, it has to be undisputed to overturn the call. It’s disputed; meaning that they couldn’t call it...

Jace, the contact was caused by the offensive player jumping into the defensive player. There were also 3 steps before that contact, which for any other team would be the part that's the walk. The step that everyone is talking about is the 4th - the step that apparently brings a walk into question if it's duke. And he carried it before he traveled. The call was awful and emblematic of what the rest of the ACC has been dealing with for far too long now.
