Tis the season for puffball mushrooms. So many of you have posted pictures of the giant white mushrooms growing in your yards. And yes, they're edible!

You can also cut the giant puffballs into slices with the skin and freeze them. The taste and consistency with the skin are better preserved. greetings from Germany

One poisonous lookalike is the earth ball mushroom purple inside and bounces like a ball

slightly brown them in butter. bout 1/2 inch thick. the most delicious sandwich. fried puffball sandwich, salt n butter to taste, 🍞

you can cook them any way as long as they are cooked well. i prefer to slice it, poke it full of holes marinate it overnight and grill it like a steak.

If you mean looks similar by its white yes lol ,but built completely different.Dude in the video is wrong though, lots of mushrooms look like puffballs in early stages and there are a few that are white balls like it that will make you sick ,earth ball being one(but inside looks completely different )
