Figured out what was actually WRONG with my Scion xB's AC. Learned something new about this car.

After the last video of the air conditioning repair of my Scion xB, it wasn't actually fixed. I didn't realize it until later after I finished the video. In this video I talk about what actually was the issue and how we (Sean) figured it out. HUGE thanks again to Sean for coming over to help me figure this out. I also did an oil change on the xB and give some basic things to look around at in the engine bay to make sure your Scion xB is ready and safe to drive.

Reverse sensor has what to do with the AC? What if it’s an automatic transmission with AC problem, common really

Glad you got it sorted! When mine went out, all that happened was no reverse lights when shifting into reverse.
Glad your issue didn't happen to me otherwise I most likely would have replaced the same things!

I have a 2006 scion. Ac works but when I get up to about 55 mph it starts blowing warm air. We already sprayed the radiator. Anyone have any answers for this problem.

Having the same issue with 2006 Scion XA. Blows cold when idle or at low speeds, but when driving fast it starts blowing warmer. Had the freon refilled by mechanic and it still did it afterwards.

My ac works great, it leaks into my passenger side floor (inside the car), it just started out of nowhere. How/where do I look to clear or replace the line so the condensation leaks under the car?

Just clean the line,it must be clog,look under the passenger side,lift the carpet and you will see the hose,pull it from the grommet and clean the end with a wire or something, that's it

I have the same 06 scion xb my question is my ac condenser just leaked out all my freon and I have been driving for a few weeks with no a.c. I bought the ac condenser and do you think my ac compressor is no good anymore? My issue was only a leak on my ac condenser but I don't know if me driving with the compressor spinning kills it. Thanks.

Hi. To be honest I don’t know a lot about ac systems. If the compressor is the original one on the car at the mileage you have, it might be time to replace it. I would have an ac shop look and test everything first to see .

@M2Motoring so I changed the ac condenser and kept the compressor that was already on there. Vacuum pumped it and filled it with 12oz so far so good a couple days and my ac goes down to 45 degrees not sure if that's great but it's cold.

Hello I don’t know the part number but it is the transmission reverse sensor . I bought an after market one from autozone

Hi I would start by checking fuses and tracing to see which wire you tapped into for reverse .

What are the size of wheels and tires?

Hi , they’re 16x8 +20 tires are 195/45r16. Tires are a bit undersized but that’s how they came.
