I REALLY hope we get the Harronir as a playable neutral race. I would change my Druid INSTANTLY. Customisations were datamined back in April, so it looks promising!
It makes sense when you think about Horde gets Dwarfs? Alliance gets Trolls?

@@Evilshtt353 I think they were just saying how Earthen meant Horde can get Dwarves now with them, and Alliance could equally get Trolls. Though the Harronir use the Night Elf skeleton so it’s just a thicc night elf with some troll features. But yes it would be a way.
@@Miller1107 Oh I see. Woops. I wouldn't mind Harronir as another allied race. Would be strange if they turn out not to be one but the amount of customizations there are for them is suspicious. It was like that with the Vulpera.

Opportunity Point in the Ringing Deeps has a suspiciously sized hole directly south of it, almost as if waiting to be blown open and turned into the entrance to a new patch zone. There's also an unused elevator shaft there as well, just like the one used to go back up to Dorn, however it looks to go deeper down rather than back up.
This is 100% related to upcoming goblin zone or raid Undermine.

That other elevator can actually be unlocked, but unlike the first one, you need to find it in the Isle of Dorn zone. It is close by the Earthcrawl Mines Delve :) And that suspicious "hole in the ground" it's for sure the World Boss spawning spot when it is that specific WB week :)
The rootlands are probably a mix of lush green (or other colorful plants and roots) and then there are parts of it being corrupted.
Goddamn the Haranir race would be amazing. I just tried some customization with the dressing tool of Wowhead to put on my transmogs with the race and its just fire. Looks really great!
Now I really hope they'll bring this race as playable.

with them having 4 arms it'd be hilarious (and broken) if they just had a version of titans grip by default, no matter the class a mage with 2 staves, a warrior with a polearm and a shield (maybe a rogue with 4 daggers) i mean it could be possible without it being entirely gamebreaking you could tweak it abit to reduce the stats significantly like with the staves for example you could make it so that if you dual wield staves both staves have their stats reduced by 49% leaving you with a 2% increase compared to a traditional 1 stave player, so its still a slight upside but not game breakingly so

That 5th zone not being used from the start would explain why the campaign falls short to level to max level.

@@sneaksies8931 if you purely just do capaign quests on your first playthrough you land at 77. my whole entire guild that wanted to just rush max level did that didn't have enough main campaign quests to finish it off. I got to 77 that same day just doing Dorn quests with 1 Dungeons. they also only did the 1 dungeon.
My theory was using the Arathi ships to delve deeper down underground. Basically ardenweald underground in another massive zone...Catch Up Mechanics / Currency, Black Blood Powers, Goblins Trying to extract it for profit, and Haronir.
"Even the first weeks of SL were great". Sorry, but no, they weren't. The main issues of that one were in the beta and widely knew by the community before it even launched
yeah, the better example wouldve been "the first weeks of WOD were great" because wod was a good expansion at launch just the pacing was soooo bad, if they did wod classic or wod remix with better pacing, it would be alot better

@@vhaelen326 WoD would have been great if it didn't have so much cut content it had like 2 major patches cut for Legion, and now we know because Legion had the most content of any expansion so they put all their resources into it. In WoD we were supposed to have Shattrath raid and Farahlon zone (which is Netherstorm) and possibly an Ogre zone in their continent which is shown on the south of Draenors map.
I know it’s off topic, skinny Kul Tiran humans would still be a great addition to allied races.
Yeah, this seriously needs to happen, and also straight back Undead, they already have the models in game. I think it will happen, but who knows when, we literally just got Troll and Draenei Heritage armor like over 5 years later which is crazy.
As long as Haronir have a different casting animation then night elves.

In the quests in the Niflin town next to where you get the grub farm going for the Nerubians, I'm fairly certain there's an interaction where Gazlowe talks to some goblins there and they talk about Undermine
it is my hope that this possible Undermine will be an entire new Goblin zone to quest through and with areas to chill in, even as a possible Hub area. With maybe the raid somewhere in the middle. AND with lots of new Goblin themed weapons and Armor, and maybe even mounts for people to collect. With maybe Kezan as an extra explorable area on-top.
IF the hints are true that this is coming of course.
I think Undermine will be the Mechagon 2.0 it will be a zone and a megadungeon, I'm not sure if it will be a raid. But, I know I've been waiting for Undermine since Cataclysm and I'm %100 confident it will be in TWW one way or the other.
It's the perfect expansion to have Undermine in it after all it's underground, and Khaz Algor is not far away from Undermine or Kezan, my hope it will be more like a Nazjatar patch and it's a raid.
I think Undermine is inevitable, and this is the expansion to do it because we've been waiting for it since Cataclysm, I think it will be a lot like the Mechagon patch where it's a zone and it's a megadungeon and not a raid. I think the Rootlands is the wildcard it could be the next raid and zone, but I think the the Ethereal raid will more than likely be the final patch of the expansion with a new zone and raid, I still think we kill Xal'atath at the end of the expansion, but if we don't she will have the Gul'dan treatment for Midnight where we kill her during the 2nd major patch. Who knows maybe Locus Walker becomes the final boss, but I really want it to be Xal'atath just because she's only the Harbinger she's signaling what's to come, she should not stick around until The Last Titan, that would be lame.
Also for Midnight I really want Blizzard to do Azshara justice, because I know she will have a huge part in it since there's probably going to be a Quel'Thalas update and the expansion will be high elf/blood elf and troll centric and it might be as ambitious as Cataclysm where they revamp the world again, and make it all void corrupted and destroyed with many lore characters dead like a doomsday scenario, and it will be better if Xal'atath is already dead. Azshara deserves a Lich King esque expansion to herself she's literally the last old Warcraft villain we have left besides Sargeras.
Actually I already forgot about Iridikon that's how forgetable he is, he has to die in the War Within. He might be the final boss.

Yeah, I think it's inevetible they will be another neutral allied race, but not until Midnight or prepatch.

I think the rootlands is also hiding the 5th old god. Chronicle book 3 teased it in the photo with the hammer in the center. All the other 4 old gods are there, and this one hides within roots or vines in the top right corner… this same depiction appears again in the azj’khet raid on the mural. It’s the same old god. As for Kazan, I feel we may get closure to Gazlo’s story line and what he’s been doing since he made his last appearance in shadowlands. Perhaps he is a certain dread lord known as Detharoc. Gazlo is the first goblin to “discover” Azerite, and the power it holds. Lastly for the Etherial raid, I think it’s Ka’Reash. If you read the old journal from the twilight hammer ogre Ogmot, in Sillithis, he says “A door. A Path. Ours... Ours...” which I believe is the “Beledar” it’s how we will go to Ka’resh and when we fail the gate will be stuck open, bridging the void on Ka’resh within the material plane capable of passing onto Azeroth’s surface.

Also, Blizzard's art team were asked in one of their interviews about adding more allied races and they flat out said that yeah, they intend to keep going when it makes sense for them to do so because they enjoy it as well as Chris Metzan himself saying he loves them, even going as far as rolling a Vulpera, so I'd say that is more than enough confirmation that atleast, eventually, we'll get yet something else to play. Furthermore, if you actually explored the open area between Hallowfall & Spiderland, you'll find curled roots that ooze with nature magic and put you to sleep if you fly near it, potentially hinting at another area we'd later get to explore.

Are we really going to liberate some Horde goblin city in a raid no one even knows about or can name without a google? Instead of getting a proper raid to reclaim Gnomeregan or Gilneas? I still can't believe we got just a small quest to do reclaim Gilneas... It should have been the S4 raid instead of that recycled Awakened crap.
I think there is also going to be something under the ocean in hallowfall, based on the fish quest

Rootlands is definitely this xpacs Forbidden Reach. I am hoping for a couple of extra raids in like 11.5 or 11.7 or something. Like Crucible of Storms in BFA or the Ruby Sanctum from WotLK. I definitely see this xpac's big bag either being the Void Lord who destroyed Karesh or being the Arathi Empire. Spoiler here, but when you go through the side quests you find out that the Arathi here are only the 3rd fleet and that the main fleets are still back home. We also go a small lead on the Scarlet Crusaders that are left also being in touch with or commanded by the Arathi Empire when we did the Gilneas storyline.
With Earthen Dwarves being the Neutral I would like to see some faction specific allied races. Alliance could get Harronir and the Horde could get the Arathi Humans. I don't really think that the Arathi Humans play too well with the Alliance's ideology with how warlike they are.
I also want Haronir. I want my Druid to be one too.
It reeeeeeally seems like rootlands will be an 0.5 type patch, or potentially our megadungeon in a 1.5 patch
I think the rigging for that new root race is Orc for the females.

@@harrycrumbs They cant, but that general sentiment is something i dont support. I think its way more fun that more races can play classes you normaly wouldnt see in. I mean in DnD they also axed any restrictions and its way more interessting to roleplay stuff that usually dont work together. Like the famous Orc Rogue who intimidates people into believing they dont see him.
For the Goblin example. Its a difference between a race embracing a for their people strange power or if the individual does that. I mean, who knows maybe the goblin was just a night elf simp and embarked on becoming a druid to get closer to them and started to really dig it.
@@harrycrumbs Goblins, along with every race that was playable at the time, canonically helped save the Emerald Dream. Twice. They have earned the right to be druids 😜

They're allied race. So of course they'll be copy paste races. Now if they were classified as REGULAR races like Dracthyr, Worgen, Goblins, Pandaren then you can complain.

im pretty sure that Blizzard held back the 5th zone from the expansion so they could release the game sooner than expected (it should have been released November). They can now add the "new zone" that's already made and should have been in the base expansion as a quick upcoming "major update" to try and draw out and con people into extending their subscriptions
