I love this. The thing about winter is that it does get "cold" but the cold snaps are brief, normally not more than 2-3 days before mellowing out again. And in between, there is a sprinkling of warm days. Even during our epic cold episode, it lasted a grand total of 10 days and it was 77 degrees at the end.
These videos are awesome. I love how informative and interesting you make them. I have been learning a lot about TX from all your videos. Thank you. PS...I live in Maine & have lived in NE all my life. I bundle up during 50 degree temperatures. I just love how TX has common sense & shut down during a winter storm.
I appreciate you making these videos! It’s hard to gage something like weather when you’ve never lived in the state. Could you please make a video comparing McKinney, Allen, and Prosper, Tx? Merry Christmas! 🎄
Hello Dana, greetings from the Greater Sacramento Area of California, Happy New Year 2022! That was a pretty good video about the Texas Winter Weather experience. 55 degrees in December sounds much better than the low 40s in Sacramento County. Please take care and look forward to your next video that I haven't seen yet. God's blessings to you, Brandon and the Pollard Family. 🙂👍🙏🙏🙏
Dana Pollard videos are the reason Keller Williams had to build that big, beautiful new building! That's what I told everyone when I dropped off Pruitt Carpet Care business cards today :-)
@@movingtotexas Would it surprise you to learn that there are cities and towns in Canada that frequently - albeit not normally - enjoy warmer concurrent winter seasons than Dallas, Texas. Let me know if you want me to prove it to you?
Not every year. If it did it was just maybe an inch or two. We used to pray for snow and get excited when it did snow, but after snomegedon I don’t think we will be praying for it again haha 😂
After this week I hope not 🥶 we do tend to get a cold streak every 5-10 years. It just hasn’t happened to this extent for like a century. Hopefully it’ll be another century before it goes for days below freezing.
When she said we don't have the equipment to de-ice the roads her information was false we do have trucks to the ice the roads but we do not have access to plows all over the state of Texas only in the major cities do we have plows and about 80% of us have four wheel drive and if not they're driving Tesla's so Texas is kind of the weirdest State you will ever move to
Unfortunately yeah Texas can have tornadoes during the winter months unfortunately it's a sad thing but that's global warming for you is it used to not do that but now thanks to global warming you can't expect anything normal from Texas, we normally never have tornadoes during the winter months
Hell living here is hell allways winter dose not exsist she will lie to you I’m looking out side in the winter and it is about 80f leaves did not fall off this year and last year it was 80f on Christmas

What are some of the best ways to winterize plumbing and water pipes in Texas?
Dana Pollard videos are the reason Keller Williams had to build that big, beautiful new building! That's what I told everyone when I dropped off Pruitt Carpet Care business cards today :-)
in february 2021 on february 14 the entire state of texas had massive snow and temperatures were between 32 - 14 fahrenheit
I’m kinda hoping we get some snow this year! We haven’t had any to speak of for awhile!
Hippies Gone Silver this didn't age well 👀
@@thatbluegirl7528 Ha! That’s for sure!! ❄️😳🥶❄️
Thanks Dana!
I love Texas....I would love to live in Austin. Love the Bob Bullock Museum.
When is allergy season/seasons?
March/April. When spring starts and flowers are blooming.
Thank you!
I want to move to texas so probably upper Dallas area because I want a season change.
I moved to Harlingen but don't quite like it. Looking to move up north
Nothing as harsh as NY.
How much $ deposit do builders require to start building in north Dallas places like prosper Celine etc
Anywhere from $2K-$5K + depending on the price of the home 👍
Good to know! Thank you!
Why does Texas not have the snow equipment for the highways?
It doesn’t snow very often down here haha

is Texas affordable?
Of course.
Not as affordable as it use to be. As the HQ’s head here, prices are going up.

Are Texans thinking more about getting abnormally cold weather every five or so years?
