My ex was feb 4. He humiliated my friends my ppl and my family but i couldnt say a word abt his friends or his plans or his anything. It was so brutal he made ppl cry. And for what? His ego? Pride? Nobody could talk or argue with him cause he wouldn’t let anyone speak. And he prided himself on how he won the argument. @@rose7777 that’s something that you honestly grow out of, hopefully. I think that “ego” is more like a chip on our shoulders that we carry, that we’re less-than or weird. It comes from an isolated childhood observing you all from the outside. In my early 20s, I was like that, but not quite as extreme. I would see someone I viewed as a “bully”, and justify cutting them down intellectually as justice, because they “deserved it”. It’s easy for us to blur the line between being honorable, and becoming the very same monster we despise. As I got older it became exhausting debating everything, just to prove that I wasn’t afraid to go toe to toe against one of you, or all of you, to defend a point. Being right isn’t always what makes someone win an argument. More times than not, I’ll just agree to disagree, or I’ll walk away. Bring right isn’t all that important, and at what cost? He forgot the 999/1000 times i defended him, stood up for him, tolerated his abuses, tolerated disrespect and cussing towards my friends my ppl, understood him, understood why he is like that, accepted him not trying to change him at all…but i stayed silent this one time where he crossed a red line with a strange womam, he was insulting her for no reason and he got mad at me when i dint support him in that behaviour…i couldn’t move nor say a word…he froze me and threw me out of the picture as if i was nothing. My heart will never be the same again. All the women he stayed with got some or other mental illness, with me i get sadness. I had a very close friend years ago who was an Aquarius. He passed from cancer unfortunately, but he was a combo of one of the most generous folks I ever met, and one of the most aloof. His coldness could drive me nuts sometimes since it made it hard for me to read him, but I miss him terribly, because he was one of the best human beings I've ever known as well. My brother is one as well. Again, one of the best men in my life, but he can turn on the ice cube maker in a second, lol. You just explained my ex, cold, distant, hard and controlling. I could never work out why the universe put us together as I am the total opposite. I found I was becoming like my ex until we separated. Now I have been with a sweet awesome guy for over 10 years I find I am returning back to my old self. But yes, my ex did a lot of damage resulting in my occasional nightmares, but I feel my ex has to pay for his bad karma. Since the marriage breakdown with ex , a lot of wonderful people come into my life, I achieved childcare and nursing certificates, and met wonderful people thru jobs and socialising more.

It comes from an isolated childhood observing you all from the outside. In my early 20s, I was like that, but not quite as extreme. I would see someone I viewed as a “bully”, and justify cutting them down intellectually as justice, because they “deserved it”. It’s easy for us to blur the line between being honorable, and becoming the very same monster we despise. As I got older it became exhausting debating everything, just to prove that I wasn’t afraid to go toe to toe against one of you, or all of you, to defend a point. Being right isn’t always what makes someone win an argument. More times than not, I’ll just agree to disagree, or I’ll walk away. Bring right isn’t all that important, and at what cost?

I had a very close friend years ago who was an Aquarius. He passed from cancer unfortunately, but he was a combo of one of the most generous folks I ever met, and one of the most aloof. His coldness could drive me nuts sometimes since it made it hard for me to read him, but I miss him terribly, because he was one of the best human beings I've ever known as well. My brother is one as well. Again, one of the best men in my life, but he can turn on the ice cube maker in a second, lol. My Taurus heart still has a tendency to take it personally sometimes, so I've had to learn to detach better emotionally over the years so that it doesn't hurt my feelings. I have found that I'm a terrible match for that sign romantically, but I have found them to be great friends. My late husband was an Aquarius and with everyone but his family and very few friends was an ice cold man. Most thought he was very scary. Which if you didn't know him, he did look very intimidating. And eventually that turned to us a few months before his death. As far as I know he was always that way. Cold, detached and guarded with everyone with no real reason as to why. But again, not with those he loved. With those close he was happy, hilarious and a nice guy. But never understood why toward so many he was cold. Thank you for explaining bc I always wondered if it had anything to do with his sign and placements. Sadly when he turned it got the best of him and he succeeded in the attempt you made.

You just explained my ex, cold, distant, hard and controlling. I could never work out why the universe put us together as I am the total opposite. I found I was becoming like my ex until we separated. Now I have been with a sweet awesome guy for over 10 years I find I am returning back to my old self. But yes, my ex did a lot of damage resulting in my occasional nightmares, but I feel my ex has to pay for his bad karma. Its because we tried 100%, all out, real love, like he says in the beginning. Most people dont have the bravery to try it. They say they do but when they try they give up early. Aquariuses are hard headed and when one decides to try real love, hes going to succeed or die trying. So we try, and learn that others are not so brave, that no ones perfect, that some have serious blockages towards love, honesty, and commitment. So that experiment gives us a reference and we see humanity different and leave our emotions on neutral. Like he says, we dont give up the idea of connecting deeply, we are just picky and slow going with the trust and love. What is more valuable than that to give to another? Nothing. Dont feel bad guarding it or being picky, and if you truly love an aquarius, show him. Talk to him. If you really want to know him, dont expect him to be fake, expect to hear real stuff. I’ve learned that after 2 years of madly being in love with my Aquarius lover that he is wholly and completely untrustworthy 😢 He ghosted me with a “out of state job three states away” and said it was for 3 months and 4 months later he still isn’t back. I’ve come to the conclusion that he wanted to dump me and didn’t have the guts to tell me straight up so he fabricated a reason to leave and not come back. Honestly it would have been much easier to be honest and deal with the consequences but “dealing” with the truth isn’t an Aquarius’ strong point. I am trying to to share what I’ve learned in my 63 years. I cut off the person as soon as I learned about his other relationship as soon as I learned about his #1 life partner he still is living with despite he-was living with me for 2 years before they “moved out of state” and #2 even though I was devastated for 6 months after the trauma now I am fine! Better to learn 2 years into a relationship who they really are than to spend 40 years together (I was married to this man) then find out they were having an affair for 20 years with the same women (she was a client if his). I guess a “client or boss” is a convenient way to be sexually involved and have a total cover up that makes sense 🤔 Note to self, never date or live with a man that has to “work over night in his office” 😂 it’s the best excuse for sleeping with another person!

Majority of the aquarius men l have talked to have admitted that they never being in love but have had committed relationships which is funny to me. Aquarius is so guarded and liberal. have a classmate guy who is an aquarius, we used to talk sometimes regarding studies online but he has always ignored me in real life , which felt very embarrassing to me .
