Hey Jeff. Thanks for the video. I agree with you about Okuma, at least on the freshwater scene. Their Okuma Komodo SS is a KILLER salt water fishing reel for bft, and yft. They also have the Helios line, and their Guide Select rods are killer too. Since that Serrano is right retrieve, and you aren't, you should give that setup away to a loyal UA-camr...like me of course. Duh! Anyway, I appreciate the content. Tight lines my friend.🎣😷🤘🙏

Bro, I ordered a lower-cost ultra-light Okuma spinning rod back in the spring because of the great price point. I really wasn't expecting anything special, I just needed a new crappie rod. Several crappie, white bass and large-mouth bass later, that rod is my new favorite, even over my Shimano and Fenwick rods. The sensitivity and backbone on such a low-cost, light rod is amazing. Good to see that their reels are just as fantastic for the money, too!

Lower hook keepers are simply wrong. Whoever decided it was a good idea is a sadistic s.o.b. who's wet dreams are comprised of anglers with hooks in their hands. Seems to be a somewhat common thing, so there's obviously an abundance of these sick pricks out there, which leaves me typically just hooking the reel and ignoring the keepers.
