Great content and tip Patrick. The challenge I'm having right now is on what Niche to pick. Your tips on picking something around my passion makes it even more complicated for me. I picked real estate a while back as well. It didn't go great for me, 90% of real estate agents won't go on to build a successful business, so many of them simply don't have the funds to invest. Additionally, agents have so many other website options available to them, most of them connect right into their MLS, and most are given a free site when they sign on with their broker. That said, we did find some success working with broker offices, developers, and communities, all of which have the funds are are excited to invest in a great digital marketing strategy.

I would love to work with end customers eventually, but I can't think about a specific niche that we could target...
That’s definitely something you could think about!!
A lot of software companies definitely need help in that way.
But Ofcourse I can understand if you want to specialise on a specific niche.
Would this be for you personally or for the company?
thank you for your reply Patrick. The company has been in business for over 12 years and this has been their business model... Also, they did not have a sales department, so I am their first and only sales representative. The IT industry is new for me so I'm trying to learn as I go. @@patrickspiegel
I'm a android and web developer i can design both and also some marketing skills, how can i setup my digital agency providing these services, how can i attract clients to give projects my agency?
Brother I am from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
👌👋👋
You just TRANSFORMED my career Patrick!
Thank you so much!
Niches I have Decided to dig further:
- Hair Dressers
- Dentists
I have experience in designing ebooks. Do you think this skill could be useful in other areas?
Thank you so much for that awesome feedback Abdul.
So happy you enjoyed the video!
I think any previous knowledge about design will help you when creating websites.
But of course it's quite a change 😉
Let me know if you have any other questions!
i think i should offer wbsites for a blog or e commerce businesses in my state. what adittional improvements should i do as a beginner to skyrocket my clients and prices?
I would say build a personal brand if you're doing it as a freelancer.
Or are you working as an agency
Hey Patrick, great video. Quick question, does location really matter, like can I be in dubai, and target boise based location?
Boise based?
Sorry haha if you could clarify that.
But you can live in Dubai and Target companies in Dubai, or you can target companies in Miami.
Doesn’t matter -> what matters is if you understand the market and your clients :)
Hope that helps
@@patrickspiegel As you've mentioned about selecting a niche based on location, so that's why I was wondering does it matter where you are based. Yes you understood my question, thanks bro! Don't mind me, I am hard at explaining my questions sometimes... lol
Haha all good!
What niche were you thinking about?
@@patrickspiegel I was thinking of targeting restaurant and cafes, what do you think?
Cafes is going to be very hard as they get most of their customers through foot traffic.
SEO could make more sense but I don’t think you’ll be able to make a lot of money.
-> just my opinion.
Restaurants is better but could also be hard for them to see the value.
If that makes sense
How to give access to domain and hosting to client, please make a video on this.
Really depends on what platform you are using
Im just starting my web design agency. I live in a city so i wanted my niche to be in tech startups. Should i niche down more?
I think tech startups is a great one. A lot of competition though, so you might need to find something to differentiate yourself more. But a great direction!!
Do you looking video editor for your YT ?
If you can message me on insta !
what program do you use to design your text slides?
They are title plugins for final cut pro x
Hope that helps :)
@@patrickspiegel Thankyou, they’re lovely
Thank you :)
Hey, can you suggest me any profitable niche? I'm bit confused 🤔. I have done various amounts of website and i liked all. But im religious guy and i dont wanna use some reveled women's photo on my developed website. This is the only thing i want to avoid.
Please suggest me some profitable niche.
Haha 99% of niches you wont need to have images of revealed woman don't worry.
I think service based businesses are pretty good but it's hard for me to give you niches as ones that work for me might not be best for you; which industries do you enjoy or which websites that you've done did you enjoy building?
That would be a good start
I am going down with dentals......What do you think about real estate...?❤
Both can be good.
Did you have any specific area of real estate in mind
@@patrickspiegel No, I dont have any, but will surely do research on it
Ah ok. Yeah it would definitely help 😀
Did you need Video editor and Graphic designer for your UA-cam?
Not right now but thank you!
@@patrickspiegel No problem! I want to start a web agency and niche is Law Firm! Please give me some tips!
Nice, start with outreach as son as you can. I made the mistake and waited way too long.
Also create a compelling offer for your clients, don't just sell a website, sell a solution to their problems!
Hey Patrick, I have a question; So I actually love 2 different niches and I would love to work in both of them. The first is restaurant niche and the second is flooring niche, so I was wondering can I create 2 seperate bussiness accounts on fb to target both the niches?
Hi Steven, You could do that no problem. You can do the outreach etc. for both industries and after some time see which one works better.
@@patrickspiegel Thank you Patrick, and mate, idk but my outreach method through dm is getting deemed by fb as spam! why is it happening?
How do you know this?
Also how many are you sending?@@Stevenmarsh-xh3iz
@@patrickspiegel I sent like 10-15 dm to businesses and like they weren't even seeing my message, so i actually tried to message my diffirent account using the same template I send out to people, and I found out that my dm were getting deemed as spam by fb.

And oh yes thank you very much for that🙏
At the 5:30 mark. Was that landing pager for “fintech” startups?
Yep, Just an example
Hi Patrick, I have made some points to pick my niche, can you please have a look and suggest your opinion
Location: United States, and India
Industry: Dentist, Coaches, Constructions and Builders, Ecommerce and Drop Shipping, Solar, Media/SMMA Startups
Services: 3d and Animated Websites and Landing Pages (Web Development)
So between the US and India I would pick one (in my opinion US).
Regarding industry, are those the different options you'd like to get my opinion on?
I picked realestate.. probably wrong 😂.. but what would you suggest i do to get the best out of fit?
What in real estate were you looking to offer? As in do you have a niche within real estate?
@@patrickspiegel I offer custom built realestate Websites with WordPress and lead gen funnels for Realtors. I'm looking to work with residential and commercial realtors.
Nice!!
I think the lead gen route is definitely the way to go. Realtors care a lot about numbers so I think if you emphasise the investment side of the Funnel, that'd be a great niche!!
Let me know if you need any other help, and let me know how that goes!!
Thank you Patrick! I also wanted to know, if it's okay to offer the design services for marketing agencies.
I mean, they're the one's who are trying to find clients to offer the same service.
But I just thought, that "I can help them to delegate the monotenous design work/heavy workload, while they can free up their time to focus more on the lead generation & marketing aspects".
Please let me know, what do you think about it.
(Service niche: social media design)
What service would you be providing?
Would that be designs for their ads or what do you mean?
@@patrickspiegel Social Media Design Service for their agency profiles and their clients (work delegation/ghost designing)
@margaguitarist ask ok. So not Web Design?
So much value in this video! ✨ Thank you!🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Happy it was able to help :))
Patrick your video is awesome. I have decided to work on Travel and Lifestyle (mediation, nutrition, exercise etc.) niche. Do you think these are profitable niches?
I like the fact that it's a niche that can encompass multiple businesses. The only worry I would have is if many of those companies or individual professionals have the budget for nice websites.
I think there it will be quite important to incorporate SEO or marketing services (only if you have the knowledge to deliver good results), unless you plan on targeting larger companies, which should have the budget for a website.
Let me know if that makes sense!
@@patrickspiegel Thanks for replying to my comment. I have worked with some individual and micro business (1-5 people) in travel and lifestyle industry and I got some good experience.
But I have no clear that these industry in these niches have a good amount of money or not. So, I need to deeply look into it.
And yes, I am offering SEO when a website project is completed.
I think doing some more research would be a good idea!
Also sounds good with SEO :)
Let me know how it goes!
@@patrickspiegel Yes, I will do some research. What do you think are these profitable niches?
I have just started doing SEO and will let you know if it goes well.
@@hamzamehboob9184 Awesome!
There are a lot of profitable niches; it's about how you position yourself and what you offer (value).
A profitable niche could be solar, roofing, plumbers etc. etc.
what u think about makeup industry
Honestly not sure how big the market is. I think it might be a small niche but you'd have to do some research. Sorry about that
Brother u know everyone is pitching him/her services to all niches but according to my research that makeup industry is hidden from them so we target it and focus more clients from there@@patrickspiegel
I would like to service the web3 space, is it possible??
I think so; Although I'm not too familiar with how the web3 industry is in demand currently. Obviously in the near future it will grow and grow.
So i think if there is a large enough audience now, go for it, and you'll be able to build a reputation for when larger companies and more business in the web3 space need a website.
IS carpenter a good niches.
I'm not too familiar with carpenters but i think they make pretty good money. I also think if you can help them with local SEO that would be a great combination as a service!
Thank you so much
Was there any valuable info? :)
Lawyers and law firms, Dentists

Really glad you liked it!!
Wedding industry could be difficult for just web design. I would think about adding additional services like SEO, Google my business etc.
hi @patrickspiegel I am thinking to pick a dentist niche as a web design agency. Is it good niche to beginners ?
If you have a good offer and you've had a look if there's enough potential leads in the area, then it can be a good niche!
