I appreciate the info. Check out cutie cathie's video. She mentions the always on display. It worked for me but, maybe not everyone. I don't think it's a hardware issue. My problem started after a software update. The always on screen settings makes it work like normal. So, if works fine that way it can't the display. Thank you. It's always good to do research.
Since the last updates, for some reason the adaptive refresh rate doesn't work anymore. It's stuck on high. I've tried giving it adb permissions and uninstalling and clearing data and then giving it adb permissions again but nothing works. (S20 Exynos)
I am using the Adaptive Refresh rate mod on my S20 Plus, I do notice screen flickering when it changes down to 60hz from 96hz. I am fine with that but I just wanted to know if that flickering could harm my device/display in the long run???

This is brilliant! Thanks so much! Got a refurbished S20 Ultra and the battery doesn't seem great on higher refresh rates - this should help a ton!
