She was forced to move when we were in ninth grade; she got no warning from her parents; we had no chance to exchange goodbyes. She didn't have a cell phone, so there was no way for us to keep in touch. That was four and a half years ago. She got a phone very recently and we found each other on Social Media. We're planning on meeting up in the following months before she enlists in the military and has to leave again. What I wouldn't give to go back and be with her during the past four years...
This is definitely one song that I think we can all relate to. How often we wish to take back words we say, or undo things we've done. It's amazing how much those feelings of regret come through so powerfully in this song. We should learn from this song to think before we say or do something, because no matter how much we would love to , we can't turn back time.

Diane Warren really knows how to write a power ballad that tugs on the heart strings and has universal relatability. “If I could turn back time” I think we all wish we could turn back time at some point but we can’t.
This was s such a sad and pretty song when you listen to the lyrics and don't actually watch Cher dance to it. She has an amazing voice and dances wonderfully, I don't think it goes with this song.
