Since I watched this movie I went down the Mcandless rabbit hole and researched in depth about this story and I started living in the moment, reading books, getting outside more, appreciating the small things in life.
It’s the small things, it really is ❤
@@MissDarlaDeville For sure. When you think like that, you have all you need, always.
Into the Wild is a Masterpiece! Emile's Best Performance to this day!
Into the Wild changed my life multiple times over. I didn’t have an eye or really care for the world around me but wow our world is so beautiful. Just have to make sure I’m not doing it alone. Thank you for this movie Sean and Emile
Same, going through hard things and this movie and Alexander supertramp ;) got me through it, stay safe
Happiness is real only when shared. Really got me. Having been quarantined for almost 30 days all by myself and felt so lonely and depressed. And when I watched Into the wild, I really was inspired by the line, the reason why I felt depressed is because not sharing feeling with others. That really is an insightful one.
It is one of the most depressing movies i have ever seen :)
He’s like the innocent version of Jack Black…
Omg you're right! I never could put my finger on it who he looks like but knew it was someone!
Innocent people don't go to jail for choke-holding women and slamming them to the ground while drunk. He was supposed to be the next big thing then he assaulted a female.
@@blackalien6873 It was 7 years ago and he hasn't had a public incident since, what he did was awful but he's gotten help since and imo deserves forgiveness.
i like the movie the next girl door..and probably im still watched it😉coz i like to see again and again the eyes of Emile Hirsch
Not so innocent. He assaulted a producer
My behavior completely changed after watching this movie. I started giving family & friends my time, respect they deserve. There was a time mobile & social media everything for me.
Into the Wild is a beautiful movie, albeit being about a tragic subject.
Yeah about a moron.
Real Christopher McCandless wasn't that great.
Just finished watching it for the 100th time and I see something different every single time, and bawl every time. Life changing. ❤
I liked the book and the movie a lot. Reminded me of my own hitchhiking travels. I hitchhiked the United States for most of 23 years.
I remember this being a life-changing movie for me too.
Emile Hirsch is so talented! One of my favorite actors! 😍😘
Love this movie so much. I think we all wish we could just walk away like that. I also loved Emile in Lords of Dogtown, but its kind of overlooked.
Same I am sick of the society and this movie inspires me to let go of everything and be on my own
Lords Of Dogtown is a great film, and emile was also amazing in that
EDDIE VEDDER ❣️ " INTO THE WILD" SOUNDTRACK!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! 😊💓🤘✌️
I’m surprised this is the first time seeing this comment. Suck a great soundtrack. Love Eddie.
I feel a spiritual connection to the actors who lose weight for the job. 😂 I lost a lot of weight in a very short time too, it's insanely hard. Respect to Emile, he gave one of my favourite ever performances on "Into the wild", what a talented and gorgeous man.
One of my favourite movies ever, I’m gonna watch it tonight lol
this movie literally changed my life i love chris and emile both so much and i really think emile embodies chris
On the whole, Emile is underrated.
He was born to play this role. This is weird for me because I hiked the JMT in 1991. Anyway, I distinctly remember when I was staying in Mammoth the name Alexander Supertramp was mentioned between a group of fellow hikers in a conversation at the bar. This young man has become a legend over the years. Needless to say the hiking community was aware of a drifter going by the name of Alexander Supertramp in the summer of 1991. I wish I could have met him. I've read the book so many times and it hits me hard as a person that loves the great outdoors. I will be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail next year at 52 years old, all 2,650 miles of it. I will think of you Alexander Supertramp. You were and always will be an inspiration to us all.
Hey man, no idea if you’ll see this, but what are you doing to prepare for this journey?
Speed Racer is how i first noted him
Best actor of our generation
Beautiful movie. One of my favourites.
It's definitely a movie that makes you think how we are living our life. My entire perspective on life changed after this movie.
Top 3 movie of mine. Might've loved it bcuz i was obsessed with the book tho
I know it was so corny but I loved Speed Racer.
As I watched Into The Wild tonight I was like this is totally a role Leo DiCaprio could've done. Sure enough, Leo was lined up to be in it I guess. Crazy cuz we may have never heard of Emile if he didn’t get that role.
No I heard if Emile hirsch from The girl next door in 2004 which was a pretty big movie too
Bro I'm watching "The Immaculate Room" and I was literally thinking a minute ago, Hirshe can totally potray Leo in a movie. Probably better than anybody else.
This movie made me cry and I and Christopher have same birthday
Holy...No lie...I thought that he had passed away. Glad to see that he's alive and well
😂
His career did.
@@blackalien6873 how? He was in a once upon a time in Hollywood 😂
I was wondering what happened to Emile Hirsch, haven't heard of him being in any new films in years.
He’s been in a lot. Even a Quentin Tarantino movie
Movie made me want to drive across America and see the world we think so tiny when we stay all wrapped up in the world and it’s issues the world is a huge place enjoy it’s beauty
Into the WILD 10/10
He looks good and healthy 👍
Just watched the movie on Amazon prime and right away planted here
The Girl Next Door
Loved this movie. The ending seeing him, was shocking!
Loved Emile when he played Tupac. I watched that movie and started my rap career.
michael rosenbaum and emile hirsch are the best. into the wild is my favorite i might just go.
Still fine. Still fine.
Very underrated actor, Into The Wild was fantastic.
“I’ll pick you one up at Walmart” 😂
Opening soon: Emile Hirsch in: THE JACK BLACK STORY!
I was thinking this too!!! It’s uncanny
I'm the same height and the difference of 145-135 is giant for me, it's basically looking shredded vs not.
100%, I'm 5-7 and honestly i got down to 165 from 200 and it didn't feel good, 175 is about as low as I'd like to be.
Loved his alpha dog role
this title is misleading. not even mentioned ONCE is how it 'changed his life' lol but rather just talking about weight loss for the role.... okay
yea that shit changes your life … lmao
Would love to see Emile play James Brown in the upcoming James Brown film!
💚
Is this guy still acting?
in kg,s?
Cool studio
It is interesting how macandless has been turned into this free spirit adventurer when he was really a pretty bad person who was really disliked by the locals in alaska.
What do the locals have to do with it lmao.
This is exactly what a lot of people say when someone gets popular in some way. You are not convincing anyone pal
I’m not the one saying it “While the author and many others have a sympathetic view of the young traveler, others, particularly Alaskans, have expressed negative views about McCandless and those who romanticize his fate.”
@@feanedhell stop befuddling yourself. A lot of the so called 'Alaskans/dislikers' are the one who are envy of him taking Alaska casually, just because they want to portray that no one can survive there except the Alaskans, but he did proudly for 113 days without any formal guidance about it. He had his failures and it cost him his life, but that doesn't take away his personal choices, and what was going on inside him, he died proudly with leaving a photo behind too. He is an inspiration for us all. ❤️
@@feanedhell "Disliked by the locals"?
He wasn't there long enough, he arrived in Fairbanks Apr 1992 and was dead by the end of Aug 1992, 100+ days were at the Bus! Do some basic math and you realize he wasn't around any "locals" for long!
You should find another topic to troll, it's abundantly obvious you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!👍
Jack Black's Son !
Christopher McCandles was stupid. But noone lost much during the filming compared to him. Have a nice day.
i wish you had ask him about the assault and prision
What?
Prison? He served TWELVE days in jail.
@@MrMisuma He beat up some lady at Sundance a few years ago when he was tanked on liquor and probably high on speed.
Thought he was jack black…
Clearly was not a wrestler. Lol.
I read he assaulted a woman when he was drunk. Good actor but doesn’t seem to be a good person.
I hate finding a cool actor and then reading their Wikipedia page only to find out they're a crappy person
it's better to be bad than good.
We've all done stupid stuff
He was black out drunk tho. It happens
@@farhan022692 Oh well that excuses the assault then🙄
