Hi there. Romneya's can be grown from seed, we don't have a video about this (yet?maybe?) but we do have a 3 part care article about growing shrubs from seeds which might be useful : www.burncoose.co.uk/site/content.cfm?ref=Shrubs+and+Trees+-+Seeds+-+1%29+Collecting+Seeds
@@stephengolds9679 I bought 2 plants from Langthorns plantery in Essex, which charge £10 for p&p and they were like £9.45. No flower last year and this year, I don't even know where they have gone. NO FLOWER AGAIN! I did manage to have some success from seeds, but don't even ask me where it has gone. I bought them on ebay and they were pretty cheap. A very sorry saga!
It’s crazy how vigorously these plants grow and spread (here in N. California), yet how resistant they are to transplanting or propagation!
Brilliant video. Could you please upload a video on how to raise Romneya from seeds?

Ive tried seed, standard root cuttings with no joy. Also very hard to find plants.

@@aym280 I look at it as a personal challenge now, I’m going to collect roots and try again.
@@stephengolds9679 Follow the video is your best bet. Or ask for the plant on facebook or freegle. You never know.
At 0:44 he says "...except that Romneya will not root." If he really means that, why bother to do it? Maybe I'm not understanding what he means.
