Sweet. I love Metroid Prime. Lots of varied moving parts in this that I love. Obviously, I'm biased towards the chiptune section, and really love how that whole part played out. Very dramatic, very nice use of buildups and stringed instruments especially! Great job on this, everyone.
Absolutely incredible! The detail work on this is much appreciated, and there are a lot of cool harmonic liberties taken to make the well-known motifs fresh. I especially liked the bass drone around the 2:50 - 3:36 mark.
This remix channels that feeling I get watching the credits after beating a really good game, where each section/voice feels like a celebration of each of the significant chapters of the game. The effort taken to organize a fluid transition between each section keeps my interest at peak levels throughout the remix enabling me to more fully appreciate each individual voice. Great stuff, and thanks for sharing.
*sigh* my first explanation was too close to an actual link. Got bopped. New one here... the main page for the remixes always ends in OCR[five-digit number the remix has in the title]
as a person who listen to music from metroid and chrono trigger I can tell you why, the metroid prime theme is sprinkled through out the remix and that theme has the same chord progression as secret of the forest from chrono trigger so if you change the notes of the theme even slightly like if they pitch it up, its sound more like secret of the forest, that is why!
I am a simple man. I see a Metroid upload, I click like.

Or.....GASMIC!
Why name this remix after a song that doesn’t actually feature in it? 0.o
Mission Final is the end result screen in Metroid Prime, and seemed fitting since this track was made for the final round of Game Set Mash at OCR.
Why does this also remind me of Chrono Trigger for some reason?

Love the track, but the background.... The constant camera movement back and forth is too much. Not that we're here for the visuals though.
