Great review! Always enjoy your perspective on your LV bags! I just acquired the Sully pm pre-loved. At first the zipper was very stiff and not fluid on the zipper rail..I can tell it hasn’t been used in a very long time. I found that by applying wax (my lip balm) on the zipper that it helps create a nice softening of the metal zip in order for it to close and open nicely. I’m in love with it and will be using her this year! I’m thinking of also getting the graceful pm in de. Any thoughts on this handbag style? I would love to hear your views on it! i've said it before: love both bags on you! beautiful craftsmanship to the sully..the pleating at the bottom reminds me of my olympe. for you to fall in love with it every time tells me you chose right! btw, the dogs made justin smile..they must be happy you're back! =)

You point out how well the pattern matches on the bottom of Sully...that is something I've always loved about LV. Could you please show examples or name some where this is no longer a priority for them. It's sad that the quality is going down. It really makes me think twice about purchasing more LV.
Can you share with me if you considered about getting galliera when you are getting sully and artsy and also delighful. if you did what was the reasons that you didn't get it. Maybe you have galliera. i have not seen on your videos that you filmed. I don't have a hobo style LV bags yet. Considering which one to go for and the size also...thank you

Hi, your videos are so helpful! I just purchased the Sully MM made in 2015 on ebay and while everything looks authentic from what I have compared and researched online, the bottom of the bag where the canvas comes together at the seam is doesn't seem to have the monograms lining up like yours does. Does this mean that I purchased a fake bag? I'm a little embarrassed to bring this to the LV store to authenticate, so figured I'd ask you first. Please help!!

HI bjtaylor02, I watched both your videos several times since I was debating between the Monogram Sully and the DE Portobello. You completely sold me on the Sully - although I ended up with the PM instead of the MM! :) Thank you for your thoughtful review and closeups on the gorgeous hardware. I do wonder tho, now that you've had the bag just shy of a year, how are the wrinkles on the handles turning out? Any improvement? Any cracking? Again, many thanks!! Love this bag!! xoxo

Hello again. Love videos and such great presentations. I asked question on delightful vs bloomsbury last week. Now..I have a different question. I decided to not get the bloomsbury. But I loved your presentation on the delightful PM WITH extender. Question is, does the extender also fit the Sully PM and if so, does it drop the same or fit the same? I like the zipper closure of sully but I really want something that can convert into crossbody with extender strap. Would love your opinion.

Can you compare the Sully MM to the Portobello PM? I prefer the Damier Ebene. My other consideration is the Totally MM or the Neverfull MM Idylle. Big purchase and don't live near a store, so could use some advice. Need to use for work and play. I am also 5'4".

hi there! may i request if it is possible for you to do a review comparison between the sully and the artsy? i had the delightful pm but i recently sold it because of it's slouchy look and the i didn't like the opening of the bag when it is on my shoulder and i am thinking that i might want one with a zipper. now, i am thinking of what perfect shoulder LV monogram bag should i get in replacement of the delightful... thanks! :)

Great review! I am considering selling my Artsy MM in order to purchase the Delightful PM. Only because I feel that the Delightful will be lighter and more comfortable to wear as an everyday bag. I know you have these two bags. Which one do you prefer? Thanks!

Just one quick question - it seems the strap is comfy but does it have a tendency to slip off when carrying it? Hello, I've been watching your Video for a while before I purchase a Sully. I notice , My LV Sully lining not going all the way into the corners of the canvas. I wonder that is a new bag Sully is made this way or It just my bag had defective?

Hi not sure if you still respond to questions, but thought I'd give it a shot... I am interested in purchasing my first loui Vuitton bag and can't decide between new delightful mm and sullymm from someone who purchased 2015... I don't know too much about the thick handle but like the zippers..
Bel the original Sully (like mine) had the very thick handle and had issues with the handle cracking and wrinkling as I predicted in a video. They redesigned the handle to be thinner and more flexible. If you purchase the older model, you might do to LV and see if they will replace the handle. I sold my Sully because of the wrinkling. Later LV redesigned the handle. Hope that helps. As for the Delightful - fantastic hobo! Some people complain of the handle sliding off the shoulder - I did not have an issue with that.

My question is since the sully largest size is MM and all my bags are GM... do you think it would be too small for a 5' 8" and size 10, do you think I may be too big for the sully ? Would be nice to compare features on the Artsy and Sulley. I like arm drop space. Artsy seems too close and not hobo enough.
Awesome video BJ! I'm officially codependent, lol. Interesting about the strap wrinkling. I'm having the same issue on MU delightful gm and I've used it about 4x, noticed it a week or so after I bought it. Would love to hear an update for that bag if yours is also misbehaving. My issues are mainly the wrinkly handle and wrinkly vachetta that surrounds the opening. Hope you will have time for a video, or perhaps a response. THANKS!!

Yes thanks bj :-) im between speedy b25 & something with vachetta piece.not sure if never full mm would fit my arm as shoulder bag. I think because I want a piece that can be hot stamped. do you think that is tacky?im really not a fan of the men's bags or graphite pieces. Do u have speedy b in monogram and demier ebene? any videos? and where do you buy pre loved?
If you are thinking speedy and specifically want it hot stamped, you might want to check before you purchase as some stores are no longer hot stamping Speedy. Personally, I love the Speedy B 25 😍

Hi! My Sully is 2 years old and I am having the wrinkle issue. The handle wasn't bad until I applied LUv my bags cleaner on it. Now the handle looks so dry and starting to crack by the stitching.Any advice that will help this issue? I don't think lv will replace it.
AmoreHk If you have the original design - the one with the thick handle, you can take it back to LV. They redesigned the handle because of issues with wrinkling and cracking of the thick handle. The LMB had nothing to do with the wrinkling/cracking issue. That was a design flaw. LV should offer to repair the handle for free. If you have the newer design, I would still take it back in and have them take a look.

Does your sully have a tag on the inside? Mareni74 also has a review of this bag and her's has a made in the USA Tag. Never seen this before on any LV bags. I dont really like it at all. Yours must have been made in France if you got it on the release date.

I sold the Sully because of the wrinkling issue on the handle. LV said it was normal wear and tear and declined to fix the issue. After I sold it, LV redesigned the handle for that very reason. It was a nice bag, dressy and a functional hobo. The redesigned handle makes it more comfortable and more like a Delightful shoulder strap but a bit thicker. I would not rebuy the Sully as it was a bit more difficult to get in/out of because of the length of the handle. I am also more casual and I found that I did not reach for the Sully as much as my other bags. I have nothing major against the bag - I am just happier with the Delightful :) Hope that answers the question.

I did take it in to LV and they claimed it was "normal wear" and declined to do anything about it. That is why I sold it. I am aware of the redesign which is why I was annoyed - they knew there was an issue and declined to do anything about it when I took it in. I have moved on. The Sully is sold and I have no regrets :)

bjtaylor02, you mentioned that LV redesigned the handle of the Sully. Can you please say a little more about what has been enhanced?
As I mentioned in one of the videos, the handle was a laminated handle with several layers and cuts that allowed the thick handle to bend. LV had problems with the handle wrinkling. I showed this in the video. They redesigned it to be a thinner more flexible handle. :)
Personally, I'd go with the Sully over the Neverfull. The Neverfull is more of a tote. It reminds me of a small beachbag. I went and tried the two purses mentioned in this video and liked the Delightful better based off looks. Check out Tivoli. That was a nice one too.
I just received my MIF sully mm bag today. Needless to say, I'm in LVoe!!!!! One of the best quality LV bags on the market...IMO!!!
In addition to my last comment, I am also interested in weight comparison of the bags I mentioned.

I no longer own the Sully. The wrinkling in the handle became much worse. LV said it was normal wear. I sold it. After I sold it they redesigned the handle ;(

If you had to choose between the sully and the delightful, which would you choose?
Delightful. I am a slouchy hobo style gal. I love the casual feel of the Delightful - it works for my lifestyle. The Sully is more dressy (IMO). Personally, I like the ease of access of the Delightful. The Sully is more challenging to get in/out of. JMO. Hope that helps.
I might have to get rid of my artsy mm the new ones are having problems as well peeling white supstance of the artsy

+Jaycole Smith If the pochette NM size works for you, then the eva or favorite which also keeps you in a lower price point. The Speedy 25B has ALOT more room and increases the budget significantly. If you are open to Damier Graphite or DE and a messenger style, I have been LOVING the District PM. The price point is a bit lower than Speedy B. Personally, I love the idea of carrying the pochette NM as a cross body. I do not own the Sully PM - I was not a fan of the short shoulder strap. JMO Hope this is somewhat helpful.

Simplybrandy03 I gave it a rest for a change up and my workplace changed the policy to prohibit colored hair. However, it is making a subtle comeback which you may or may not notice in furture vids. ;)
