There’s gotta be a story behind why it’s spelled “Blame” but pronounced “Blam”… tho it could just be a Japan bastardization of English words like Daughter said ^^
I noticed the thumbnail was a bit different, looks great! That commissioned art piece is also really pretty 🤩 I love the starkness of the wolf counterbalanced by the soft colors of the girl in the foreground. Hopefully Mom Weeb feels better soon and gets some well-deserved rest!
I would also be interested in Mom Weeb’s thoughts on DanDaDan if she’s up for it just because I myself disliked it so much heh… 😅 it’s one of the few books I dropped because I felt actually low-key disgusted reading it (one of the others being Tokyo Ghoul). That awkward silence after Dad Weeb cut off her summary of No Longer Heroine tho 😶

I read the Sculptor many years ago and it’s still part of my collection - I think if you are a creator, you may like it a lot, it is Scott McCloud’s best work in my opinion. 1St Second is one of the biggest British original graphic novel publishers. McCloud acknowledged his prediction to be incorrect, but I do think he was right to predict a line format.
I really liked the softcovers for Summertime Rendering, I wonder how you find the hardcover quality.
The quality is on par with the hardcovers from Viz like JoJos or Fist of the North Star.

The hardcovers shouldn't have printing issues. Udon waited until everything was right before releasing them.
