another song from the depths of the vault brought back to the surface. i don't have much to say about this one. it was written during a difficult time, so it was difficult to revisit these emotions and finish the piece. although i consider myself now to be a bit of a prince charming, there's a part of me that's always imagining myself as a princess locked away in a tower, staring out at the ocean. i often find myself writing songs for that person, hoping they find any resolution.
i hope they know they're not a monster. i want to believe no one is, but that's a bit optimistic?
