The recent stock market crash, losing about 1.7 trillion in just 24 hours, is a stark reminder of how volatile the market can be. It's a challenging time for many investors, but it's crucial to stay informed and make decisions based on long-term goals. This underscores the importance of having a diversified portfolio and a sound investment strategy, ideally with guidance from a financial adviser to navigate these turbulent times effectively.

    • @Rachadrian

The recent stock market crash, losing about 1.7 trillion in just 24 hours, can be attributed to a mix of factors such as market volatility, geopolitical tensions, regulatory changes, unexpected economic data, overvaluation of stocks, and a correction phase after a prolonged bull market.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.

Still with Tesla stock, investors can never be sure what will happen next, bearish periods ultimately establish a new set of stocks to buy and watch while setting the stage for a robust new uptrend. I have been reading articles of people that grossed profits up to $250k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

One thing I have learned about the stock market is that it is very very manipulated. It will not let investors know when it go up or down. It will always do the opposite what investors think it might do... If investors can figure out what the market is going to do, companies will go bankruptcy.... So I don't waste my time and energy to bother what the market is going to do...... for me .. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Let's be very clear about one thing. The "market" has been massively wrong on what the Fed should do with the funds rate for at least 2.5 years now. In early 2022 before the Fed even started hiking, the market was already forecasting rate cuts to happen by end of 2022. The market at the start of 2024 had 7 rate cuts for 2024. Laughable to suggest the Fed is the one that has been getting this wrong. It has proven out that they were right to start hiking in early 2022, aggressively ramp up that funds rate, and then keep it at the terminal rate until now. Also, the Fed on numerous occasions has stated that a recession will likely occur as a result of this hiking cycle. The market consensus has been no or soft landing, which is another thing they will be massively wrong on...........I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 140k to a decent 539k....I'm especially grateful to Adriana Jensen whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

consumers making more money just means increased prices. corporate margins are the real issue. if a corporation increases wages, the margin is reduced unless they increase prices, and wall street frowns upon decreased margins. so we are in this never ending cycle of wages are increased and inflation is increased in response. people who scream for higher wages dont understand that higher wages do absolutely nothing. why do you think corporations ship jobs to China? cheaper labor means better margins and their stock goes up.

3:41 Lack of regulation is what has gotten us to this almost recession point. Reduce inflation if they want but no bailout for hedge funds and institutions. A cheaper and easier way to boost the economy in my humble opinion, is to make those crooked institutions who have lobbied to fix the stock markets for their benefit, is to force them to pay the billions if not trillions that they owe on margin calls, and fix the markets so that their is way more transparency, no more dark pool, no more tick constraints, no more naked illegal shorting, and no more holding buy orders until after market.
The rise in unemployment is not just due to all these old companies downsizing, but due to all these new companies’ stocks that are to take us into the future being aggressively and overtly shorted thus giving them little to no capital to hire workers and to expand to stimulate the economy. These new jobs would have more than supplemented the jobs lost. You can’t fix the economy only helping the richest of the rich. You have to help the masses which is not them. Those filthy rich people will be just fine.

Strong BUY. Still early innings. NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.

    • @BellaKayla-v1w

Problem is that NVDA is addicted to the datacenter, their mobile offerings are terrible. Inference needs to happen at the edge (mobile) and training will not have the same amount of demand as time goes on. NVDA is a major bet on aggregation of resources (compute) but this is cyclical as we have seen dozens of major shifts in this industry. Remember when Citrix aggregated desktops with VDI and then it imploded because VDI has a problem with latency? AI Inference in the datacenter has the same problem with latency. AAPL and Samsung are the best buys for AI now that we are transitioning from training to inference.
