Great choices. I went for the 2023/24 Star Rookies set for £30 (some boxes are really expensive here in the UK). You are guaranteed a Connor Bedard rookie card and there are a number of numbered parallels and auto cards to look for. I got an unnumbered blue Logan Cooley in my box. Not bad.
I picked the wrong time to get into hockey cards. All my son wants is a Logan Cooley rookie but all these Betards keep jacking up the price! Good video tho. Most helpful one I’ve seen!
19-20 s1 is great. I've opened a blaster, a tin, and a hobby and I've pulled 2 Jack Hughes YG's, a Adam Fox Yg's, and a Adam Fox Canvas YG's. Great set.

thanks for the info but what if you get one or 2 boxes of the 2 series and instead of opening them you hold on to it and wait for a year or two even 5 and see the price of those boxes dobles?
I originally thought that this would be a good idea. Now I’m starting to realize that print runs are going to be to the moon. So, so many people have the same idea, too. It’s not going to be like 2015. Especially after the 1/1 is pulled.

i just pulled a Quinn Hughes out of a retail box of 19-20. i was thinking the same thing with it having a lot of upside for the cost.
