Messing around with time-stretching some footage of the Apollo 11 launch...
Gravity Waves is track 6 from my album 'Automatica'.
This footage was recorded at 500 frames per second on a 16mm camera, labeled E8. There are a number of other videos of Apollo launch footage from other angles, check them out if you are interested.
Nigel John Stanford! Your music is Cosmic. The timeless sound waves you create and hundreds of thousands of humans play, travel through the cosmos. When heard by other beings, it will make them ponder - maybe they will never know that this is the sound of the Earth. You're one of the chosen few and we hear you!
👏🌌Cosmic music for cosmic people
As I step out of the covid fog of the past 3 years, it's good to see the algorithms at the google headquarters have taken the time to push up hidden treasures for us to discover when we emerge. How I've not come across this before I don't know but 2022 is as good a year to start enjoying Mr Stanford's work as any other. Every track is an epic masterpiece and I'd be lying if I didn't say the videos reminded my brain what it was like to enjoy life. I think I'll be here a while tonight.
your videos are everything man. id watch an hour long mix of music you choose over visuals you create like this
there is actually a growing audience for that kind of thing on youtube, i know im not the only one whod love more content from you, of any sort
Have you watched the 4k video... Timescapes... NG does the music for that... Well cool! 💯
7,891,000 million pounds of thrust on stage 1 ... lifting over 5 million pounds off the ground ... with stage 2 & 3 pushing it to orbital speed of 17,500 mph and stage 3 pushing the command and lunar modules to escape velocity of over 25,000 mph ... the Saturn V stack was a beast ... humans are just amazing. And so is this video.
What about the fuel?? ,-.
Leo Bunt the fuel comes from the earth while we already could use cosmic energy as some already do. How we could get to different planets in our galaxy? Of course using the energy of the cosmic vacuum.
50 billion in Saturn V. The greatest but most expensive equipment that human ever built
7.8 trillion?
I want this on my car hell ya
One of my favorites. So simple, but evokes so many thoughts and emotions.
Its just crazy how you can ally science and music... Feeling like a new dimension, a messenger from the future. Keep it up, keep going
Coming back to it now (end of 2020), I can really see how this is one of the best videos that I have ever watched on UA-cam ever, and not to mention the absolutely stellar music.
Nigel - Your music inspires me ... Your videos captivate & hypnotize me ... Thank you!
Me too
you're welcome Jeff!
Из простого запуска ракеты, сделали занимательное зрелище, от которого не возможно оторваться. Отличная работа!
Saturn V launches never get old for me. Bravo!
Apollo 11*
Saturn V is the rocket, Apollo was the program's name
@@daverodd are you dumb i would know that if it was the case apollo 11 is the rocket and saturn v is something else probably mistaken for a scifi movie ship or something lol i understand yall are just trekies or fucking star wars nuts but really history is better than that DUMB DEGENERATE AMERICANS WITH THEIR STUPID FUCKING SCI FI
This is a master pieces of engineering, this is the true power of the human mind.
@@sogini12youtube16 www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/5-8/features/nasa-knows/what-was-the-saturn-v-58.html One quick search would lend you the result and the explanation of what the Saturn V was but judging by your lack of brain cells, you didn't even think of doing this and instead going after him because he was American.
I don't know what country you are from, but it is definitely apparent that they don't educate their people well.
It makes me feel grounded and practical. Nigel's each music has different and unique vibe🤗🤗😄😄🕉🕉👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏
I've watched hundreds of launches in my life, that was the coolest lol keep it up bro 👍👍
Самый любимый музыкальный исполнитель, все песни переслушала!)
А клип вообще супер!
Спасибо Nigel Stanford!
That is some seriously trippy visuals...and the music is, as ever, truly spectacular! Thank you again for sharing it all!
I could be wrong but I find this vid to be a compliment to Apollo 11. I like how the afterburners are in total sync with the beats 😎
Nigel is such a great genius❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏..., oh man! he is from from another dimension🙏🙏🙏🙏🕉🕉🕉👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤.

I cant describe how powerful the audio and visual are together!
Beautiful time remapping job on this, I saw this launch and it never was this dramatic.
There are no words to describe Nigel's music!!! It is bliss in heaven. Maybe it helps if you are reading Stainless Steel Rat books at the same time :)

This is a good one. Added straight to my fav spotify playlist. Beginning is very epic
Oh my God... 😍
Old but nice to listen that waves music....
@@rameezramses6633 i love the sound in the waves un this song.
Not bad all.
Literally cannot stop listening to this track! Recognized the Apollo footage instantly, but was wondering why at first it was playing in reverse...well executed in time with the music.
Ambiance music is under appreciated 🔥🔥
The first three tunes I listen too bring tears with joy. Wow💪💪💪
Gravity waves.... to us! Just in these days two merging neutron stars were detected both with electromagnetic radiations and gravitational waves for the first time. Gravitational waves are the way the Universe has been speaking to us for a long time, but only now we can hear them. Seeing the Universe through gravity waves is beautiful just like listening to the sound waves forming this song. Awesome song, spectacular album and a very good video choice.
Live Long and Prosper, Nigel!
@Nigel John Stanford
I love your music. Solar Echoes and now you spoil us with this gem...? I'm not complaining :). As a recreational musician, i have to say you are very inspirational. Can't wait for future videos and songs!
Fascinating..feeling small meets big one on gigantic scale.. scientific way..from space when we see sun earth universe.together..
feeling amazingly overwhelming in brains.
Just bought the new album man! Can't wait to have it on repeat!
Ótima combinação da música com as imagens , sensacional!
This never fails to impress me😎💯
This takes things to a whole 'nother brother. Thank you, Mr. Stanford. Stellar, stunning, addictive... Had I mentioned "brilliant"? Wow.
Pretty amazing that a camera was able to survive that close to the launch zone and get such a clear shot, innit?
One wonders how far away that camera actually was and how the enclosure protecting it was constructed.
This is Fantastic!
Nigel this is also yet another master piece from you. Superb video which ultimately matches the music... stunning performance buddy ...... 😄
Loved your video concept and of course all of you songs too.
I love this album ! every song ! The only one I listen in my car for the moment .
Once again, a really fun video to watch. Never again will I doubt you good sir!
Beautiful and inspiring video. A perfect example of the laws of physics. Without an opposite and equal, there is no force!

That is soo cool! Never seen this part of a launch before!
Hermosa música !!! Hermoso vídeo !!!
awesome! saw/heard your work for the first time today, just now, and I'm hooked!!!
I love to jam along to this tune with my boards. Nigel - You've had amassive impact on my playing! Thank you
From what I read and heard; Apollo 11 launched off the pad with a temperature of 1370 degrees celsius; which is hot enough to melt steel. That's incredible considering that rocket sat on the pad for 3 seconds before it took off and the temperature remained very high even after it got off the pad.
So for about 10 seconds the launch pad was experiencing the heat of a blast furnace. Incredible.
[Edit]
So I recently learned Apollo 11 absolutely destroyed the launch pad it was firing from because of the heat and power it generated. Which is why launch pads in the future spray water all over the place nowadays. The launch heat was so great it totally fried the launch pad Apollo 11 was sitting on.
Pretty amazing that a camera was able to survive that close to the launch zone and get such a clear shot, innit?
One wonders how far away that camera actually was and how the enclosure protecting it was constructed.
@@josephjones5070 no kidding. It was a lot I'm sure

i could only ever figure out how to make marines...
Nigel John Stanford well I still regularly play starcraft if you ever wanted i could help you out we could do allied bases and I could help you undertand the next step and we could play against AI so that it's a little easier as well
Damn this track is just astonishing amazingly beautiful! Perfect match between audio and video as well! (Must have been painful to edit it)

Thanks for all the cool science videos you make Nigel! You're one talented person. And thanks for showing cool footage from science and the world. This is the kind of thing we need to show people more to help them realize that knowing about the world is a worthy venture.
Nice track and vídeo. You are amazing.
SPECTACULAR!!! :-O
Dude I would love to learn how to create tracks like that!
Layer the sounds and figure out which ones need to be lowder at what time. Start with a beat or melody and go from there.😁🫡
Great. I love it. Epic
So very creative and a cool beat. I LIKE IT!!
Wow this is nice thx for keep making music
Tu música cada vez que la escuchás aparecen nuevos sentimientos.... Excelente!!
Refreshing integration of art, music and science not necessarily in that order. You’re a clever one Mr. NG Stanford.

that ice falling in reverse looks like the spaceship is applying anti-gravity fields as it lands
