Repeated this exact walk today and Joey Justice was far less excited anytime I pulled out his ball. Sure he had his initial excited response but when I paid zero attention to him he quickly pounced away going about his business. I will continue doing this in the house, outside the house, on walks etc to break that crazy bad habit that formed in him. Training your dog to be that amazing companion is not hard, it just takes time, patience and understanding of how to go about things. These courses I have linked here will transform you and your dog and you will be forever grateful you took them. Use code "Jason" to get 10% off all courses listed here - rb.gy/u1skt
Agree with the dogs following owners’ habit. Honestly, if our Diamond wakes us up and we aren’t ready to get up, we just send her back to bed. So she lays down, until we are ready to get up. 🤷🏻♀️
JJ is just amazing. Wonderful training Jason. We sleep early too. And my corso waits by the stairs to go up to bed by 9pm. If we sleep late for aome reason he just sits there like whats happening with bedtime. Love the walk and talk videos!!!!
For real… Trooper is up at 530 at the latest. My boys get fed twice a day. 5 and 5 kind of stuck. It just kinda made its own schedule to be honest??? I am a morning person usually but sometimes of course I don’t feel well and we can not sleep in ever. So I can not get upset at them for getting up early just because sometimes I don’t feel well. ❤. They such good boys. They do wait patiently they do not whine.
Love this content, Jason! Now I gotta search for that 'fight' video. FWIW It's very hard to find videos of yours you refer to. When Bruce had his surgery at Cornell, I really had a hard time finding your follow up videos about how he's doing! Would it be possible for you to put a link to the follow up video, or a vid you referred to, in the description? Thank you so much! I love how you framed this today... Are you using a gimbal or just your Google Pixel phone?
Is this a Cane Corso thing.. my CC is only 2 and he will sleep past me as well lol. Everyone is really shocked how calm he is. Maybe it's just the boundaries and structure, but I'm curious if it's partly a breed thing? 🤔
How did you stop or get your dogs not to bark at people when you are driving around? My dog is protective of me and loves to go on rides in the vehicle, however he has this problem of barking at people walking by or jogging by the car. Or god forbid we drive by a field or strip of forest.
I would like to adopt a Cane Corso puppy but I already have a 5 year old Shih Tzu and three cats, I had already had a large dog (Great Dane) and a small one (Maltese), but I don't know what it would be like to have a Cane Corso. Some advice? I don't expect my Shih Tzu to play with him as he just wants to sleep he likes dogs but doesn't play with them as he is a bit introverted.
Let’s not become animal hoarders, you need animals that are similar in temperament with your home pets, your lifestyle and what you can afford. I have both a cane corso and a Rottweiler, it’s the work that you’re willing to put them in consistently everyday without burning out, and they are large and you must adjust your home to accompany them.
@@jasoncoreyI reviewed the video and it is very helpful. And my only experience with a Cane Corso was a Cane Corso x German Shepherd mix, he was an amazing dog, possibly the best I've ever had. But after two years passed away because she had been poisoned. And as long as she was there we had no other animals. My current dog Max is very good however if he sees such energetic dogs he gets scared so he only plays with five dogs (four large breeds) for now as they are calm and chase each other. So to choose the right puppy I wanted to take him with me (the breeder agrees) so as to see which one has equal energy and likes it.
Mainly my doubt was due to the fact that another person had told me that he would never put a large dog like the Cane Corso together with a small dog like a Shih Tzu, saying that even if they are good natured by mistake they could hurt the smaller dog. You've been really helpful, thank you so much.
❤ il have a question for you and your dogs il love Dogs but don't take this the wrong way but you and your wife have water but when you're dog's over heating and to hot for them you drink water what about your dogs needs water to cool down
I'm just gonna be honest. We've had big dogs, dominant dogs our whole lives. You need to be ready for cane corso. You need to have experience. These dogs are different. Don't get me wrong. They'll follow you to hell and back... but if you don't know how to direct them. Don't get them.

That tennis ball cost us $7,000 in surgery bills after my Bradley chewed it like bubblegum and swallowed it. No more tennis ball for him after that.
