I beat this fight on Twilight today, by far the hardest in the game. Those combos are so finicky to deflect and you don't even get a decent chance to fight back.
I used to steal in twilight, but in midnight I found I'm not that fast and it takes more stamina to steal, so I let him buff as much as wants. I wish I could stop him doing those grabs though.
Yeah the old guy tough as nails and very fast. He ties you up with that sub-weapon also which comes through with lightning speed. Is it a pistol or what? What is it he's using intermittently? Is it buffs to strengthen his attacks and defence or what? If it's healing it doesn't seem to be doing much healing is why I think it's more strengthening buffs. And yeah as for stealing the items with the grapple before he uses them it is a bit difficult with how fast it happens. You really got to have your eyes peeled looking out for it.

I think the combo randomness is the best part of the fight.
Steal his items with r2 when he wants to use
I never steal anything from enemies except health pills .. it’s so fast

I hate his flash bombs, has endless supply as well. I think he buffs himself mostly when he takes something.
@@amithmith Yeah I think it's buffs also since I didn't see a significant difference in his health bar.
