The town of Rockport, Mass. (pop. under 7,000) has already raised over $20,000 and still going for their "sister" city. Rockporters helping Rockporters.
I live 30-40 minutes from Rockport, so tragic. The Church I attend, took much needed supplies to these precious people last weekend. I hope Templo Elim in Corpus Christi will be able to go again.
I was there in person to help out as a Labor, it was my first time seeing a place that got hit by a Hurricane, and it was very messy & all of the stuff were everywhere, big trees (like BIG TREES!!) were ripped off from the ground, some were cut in half, most of them fell on top of the houses.
First View of what it looked like. We just got a glimpse when we came back Home, but this shows a lot more. Thank You.
Our family is praying for them too. I can't believe the crappy comment at the beginning of video. " if you e seen one house destroyed you've seen them all". Those people are devastated and that was not a good thing to say. Our prayers are with all of texas
cliffordbaggett1970 thank u it means a lot even 8 months after Harvey we're still rebuilding
I know people might think i'm lying but I live in Rockport. My house was spared but I can't go back to school for 8 weeks.
I was looking to buy a home in the old part of Rockport.and They still looked good.THAT is why they were built in that area.
The massive area effected and the number of people who's lives will never be the same is unfathomable. It will be decades for recovery.
"you seen one house torn apart, you've seen 'em all" kind of killed the conversation for the rest of the flight. The people of Rockport will get everything put back together and get back to fishing.
What the shit is wrong with you. Wow no heart or soul!!!!
Texas Strong!
We have......
Im from rockport. I left in 87 but still have some family there. Its sad to see it trashed like that. I never went back because there is no work.. I guess there is now though!
Wow.
That didn't look like Rock port to me, and I used to live there years ago. The damage is incredible.
It just shows how quickly our lives can change. So sad
wow. godspeed.
Wow.so heavy.
What parts of Rockport was this supposed to be? It didn't look for a lot of it.
CORRECTION: It didn't look right for a lot of it.
+Martha Shaw I think it's Copano Bay, Rattlesnake Kayak launch, maybe Holiday Beach. He says that he's going to Rockport!
Good video. There was one house off of a little private ass hole drive, that was off of Copano Ridge Rd that was made out of cement to withstand a storm like this. You missed it by a hair. To bad. I wanted to see how it did.
Solo fue 3horas hurancas imaginates 48 hora seria desatres 100% pues solo fue 3 horas
