Recently visited the Tenement Museum at NYC and discovered a book called The Color of Law - it goes in depth on the topic of "redlining" and more.

This is so true my father was a navy veteran and used his GI loan to buy his mother a house in 1960 i am sitting in that house right now due to the housing situation currently. I am so glad 🙏🏾.

if your father was black. how did he even get a gi loan. weren't the gi policies discriminatory against black people back then? i just assumed you were black based on the color of your hands in that emoji at the end.

Very informative and true, both my grandfather's served in WW2 Navy submariner Pacific Theater, USAAF Ball Turret Gunner European Theater, both survived, both were never able to get a GI loan, and never owned a home, they are both Mexican American, my wife's grandfather served in WW2 also,European Theater, he got a loan for a home and college became an engineer, and when I met my wife she was living with her grandmother in that same house!🤔✌

The question. The most of the loans in the banks have insurance cover. If you failed to pay back the loan. Loan will cover your amount
But most of the banks don't fulfill the promises. According financial slavery policy. All loans should covered by insurance
Question is. When Customer finished to pay back the loan most of the Banks don't give it back to a customer who kept paying the loans.
Even the state governments don't ensure these financial institutions give the back the certain amount of those insurance cover percentage

Ecclesiastes 3:1;8 “1 ¶ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

US government and British government. I don't think so. They will pay back black people the reparations. Because they still undermine the African nations and they fear the revange
But black people should be organized. Have same VIOCE. Strong unite. Be united families because our families are too divided. It doesn't matter what language you speaking. Abolish Criminality amongest our nations

Well, we can live anywhere we want now, so there has been solid progress. Why do we continue making videos about the past that never detail progress made because we are not currently living in the 60’s or the 70’s? We are not helpless!!!

The wealth gap between black & white people today began during the time period of this video. So, this history very much is important because it explains the current socioeconomic environment between races. “Forgive, but never forget.”
