When I was a little kid (about eight or nine I think?) I saw a picture of the display in the lobby and I thought it was the coolest way to pose those fossils. The drama! The mother protecting her baby! It being the largest free-standing dinosaur display in the world! They enamored me and had a lot to do with my interest in dinosaurs growing up. I had no idea where the actual display was, though. I remembered seeing a picture of it in a book and I never looked into where I could see it in-person. So happy to finally know the answer.
Disgraceful that the night at the nuseum t rec isn’t the first thing you get to see when you walk into the museums :/ was that dinosaur ever real or wss it just a prop to make it look like it was real
it wasn't film inside they just took the shots from the outside and a few inspirations of what they would use for the film but that it. the sets was build in canada and it was film there. if you look at the lobby from the movie to here it's very different.
