Spectacular video Marcus! I’m so glad you chose to upload this over the Heil. These trucks are so funky. Arm works like something you’d see in a cartoon lol. Cool coincidence that you caught Chris in it too lol. Do wish they bought these in the old colors but oh well. Got a good laugh when the arm hit the tree at 3:03. Why didn’t the clip of Devons line make it in here? So glad this day went so well. Excited to see the rest!
@@Marvo817 Like I told the sales guy, "You know how New Way is the Great Value version of the Automizer? Well this is the flea market knock off version of that."
@@KFCOrBust Damn Lol! Honestly I see what you have been saying all these years about Labrie. Now that I drive one, I couldn’t imagine driving any other type of truck.
sweet video Marcus! Truck ran far more efficiently than the ones from GFL in Michigan so that was a pleasant surprise. I'm curious how the truck will perform from a reliability standpoint long term, but otherwise I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Video was filmed and edited very nicely, looking forward to seeing more videos from your Austin trip!
@@YourGoat803 that is awesome! I did not know they expanded their route all over to Broad River. Do you happen to know high one it was? Like number wise?
Haulers purchase this truck because it will pack better than most, is priced right, it's maintenance friendly and the company provides great service after the sell.
And the award for the coolest white truck goes to...Devon’s Ford!

Thanks Axel! Devon’s line will be in a different video, glad you enjoyed it!
Devon really be looking like a supervisor
Yessir he does
Hey that's me.
So the ultimate question, how is this compared to an Automizer lol
@@Marvo817 Like I told the sales guy, "You know how New Way is the Great Value version of the Automizer? Well this is the flea market knock off version of that."
Yeah it is! Thanks again for letting me get the video

How much can this thing pack?
Yea this truck is pretty good reminds me of the Mancos here in NZ
Cool clips you got! Really like how this arm works. Was kinda surprised at first when I saw this arm and wondering how it would work.
Thanks! Definitely an interesting arm design for sure!
Nice truck.
I live in Austin and I thought I was gonna be the first to film it but someone beat me to it lol

Thanks Tony! I really am curious on how these trucks will run 5-7 years from now. Really glad you enjoyed it!
These trucks are used on my route! Love to see other cities use it
U drive them?
@@YourGoat803 yessir. They are fun to operate
@@GarbageKid I’m from the area. I was behind one of them Wednesday morning picking up trash on Broad River.

I love the video hope to see a part two in the future
Thanks!
This is sick. Would love to see some around here. Great video!
Thanks!
How about a hopper video?
That thing probably does great with low hanging branches
Definitely one of the issues with the truck
@@WasteMan226 yeah
@@WasteMan226 free tree trimming
Low hanging branches are an issue with any ASL if you lift the cart into the branches. Not an issue with this truck.
@@Hottytoddy72 you’re on crack if you think branches aren’t an issue for this truck
My city has this side loader to
the back of this truck almist looks like a wayne curbtender.
Absolutely thrashed and trashed those cans. Just demolished.
Whoever approved the purchase of these trucks needs to be fired. A city with so much money and they buy this crap.
That’s got to be the worst designed arm ever. Why would any hauler buy that?
It’s better than the Manco SL75 that New Way and Labrie used on their trucks that they ended up calling the Cool-Hand.

@@Hottytoddy72 that arm is a nightmare though
No good in tight areas
@@Trashman702 from my experience, all arms are a nightmare in tight areas. I have seen them all.
@@Hottytoddy72
True. But being said some are way worse than others. ZR or AmRep is best for tight areas. No kick out. No swing. Just up and down.
