Surprised by this Eddie, Matt at OG just said he was switching over to use the Griots and was very high on them. Was considering it but now have to reconsider.
I did figure this out, it really only wants bigger gpm at least 1.8 if not you get foam like this. Once I got a better washer that cannon works good. I did buy the newer foam cannon from griots and it’s much better.
@@Ecdetails bro I just the GPM the cannon wants, I ended up buying a gas washer that’s got something like 3300 pressure at 2.5 gpm something like that. At Walmart the black something gas pressure washer, it worked great with that machine but most cannons work better with more pressure or volume and a higher gpm. When I first ran it with an electric 1.3 gpm washer I had foam just like this. Not that it was horrible foam considering the pre wash did most of the work and foam is just for lubricant for the contact wash. But with more pressure and gpm it worked great. Still does to this day. Then I bought the newer Griots cannon and it’s much better with lower gpm, pressure washers. That’s what makes the Mjcc cannon so good is its ability to work well with lower tier pressure washers. Imo it’s the better buy. I’m sure Griots also figured that out and that’s why they ended up with a newer foam cannon less expensive and better foam with less GPM and pressure. Ramp up your washer to at least 2.0 gpm and you should see better foam.

Never used the boss but I have the brilliant finish foam cannon. With the same exact orifice my pf22 foams better and uses far less product. I can foam my entire truck with half a pf22 bottle whereas I can barely do my truck with a full bottle of the griots. So Griot's foam cannons seem to be subpar in my experience
Love my $20 sooprinse Amazon foam cannon I tested it side by side with the griots boss and they foamed about the same I think my Amazon actually did better!
Honestly none of these devices should be more than 50 bucks. And with the increased capability of modern manufacturing that is still high. If I do foam instead of rinseless I use $25 amazon cannon.
The sooprinse is 20 bucks and comes with a microfiber mitt. Throw in a tighter orifice and a denser foam filter and it'll compete directly with a mjc. Like you said no need to spend this much money on a foam cannon
Nice review. Not sure if I read it anywhere from them before but I think they like the foam but more liquidy. I can be 100% wrong. But I prefer the crazy thin like foam of MJJC. Plus the design looks better.
If the veloce isn't clean after this there is a serious problem 😂 The griots wasn't bad I've seen much worse Tough to go up against the goated MJJC Awesome video!
Sorry, I can't agree with you on this one brother, but in my book Griot's is my top pick. MJCC is as good but not better for foam. And MTM IS great, but with Griot's with it's metering tips designed for their soaps and the connectivity with their bottles is awesome 👍😎. Griot's (pronounced GREOHS, LOL) SURFACE WASH soap is killer. It has the best dwell time and cleaning than any other I have tried in the business in my climate zone. This is how thick the griots should be clouds and pillows of foam ua-cam.com/video/uz8KtEBxwwE/v-deo.htmlsi=EYFoNyPu9cT1C2VE&t=831
Griot's is like a high maintenance woman in what type soap works best. I will take my MTM cannon any day since the MJCC nozzle is too long. I do like the weighted water inlet tube and the clear soap jar on MJCC. Foam fight is over children.

And sorry but I don't get rinse-less it's not fun and you have to use 400 towels. No shade just saying...foam town is where it's at!
@@Murph97 haha ill do a review and test it with the metering tip and get some thoughts rinseless is sooo fun
Love your video style man.
I have the Boss foam cannon and have been a big fan. I personally want my pre-wash to be slightly running so it can drag the dirt off. While it's cool, I personally haven't found much real-world use for the MJCC's airy foam, but to each their own
Hey bro thanks for watching , I need to make a revised video I fix some stuff on my foam cannon , cleaned it changed the orifice 1.25 and then changed the plug and it is working pretty good not sure it’s as good as my mtm or mjjjc
aWESome video as always...this one had me not knowing what to do for a while, can't buy mjjc (honor the source)...griots was ass...but out of nowhere, SHOUTOUT to NV for saving the day.
Eddie M. we need a NV vs MTM battle 😍
Hmmm done ill put it together I love my mtm but the heck is small some don't care some do its an American thing bro
Great video and review Eddie they can’t all be winners 😂.
👀👀👀👀👀😂😂😂😂😂
Hey bother you a link to the last foam cannon and the short gun your using?? Thanks bro

Fun video to watch! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 hope you , bev and the girls are doing great brother. Great video would have been better if Lizzy spray you down with foam. 😂🤣
imma let her , if she can out work me in an interior clean haha , appreciate you asking man and they are doing better every day
Griots has another foam cannon that I have been using for years and I think it is the best one around. Try the Griots Garage "Brilliant" Foam Cannon.
Imma have to test it , is it cheaper ?
@@Ecdetails Yes it is like $60
I thought Eddie was going to get foamed for a minute there. You had your chance girl. Lol
I should of let her huh 🤔 haha 😂
Surprised by this Eddie, Matt at OG just said he was switching over to use the Griots and was very high on them. Was considering it but now have to reconsider.
He is running more gpm then my kranzle so I would say if you got something that pushes more gpm and want to spend 100 dollars get it
I did figure this out, it really only wants bigger gpm at least 1.8 if not you get foam like this. Once I got a better washer that cannon works good. I did buy the newer foam cannon from griots and it’s much better.
What’s better than a kranzle ? I’ve had ar blue 630 and this kranzle. Let me know I’ll let you understand this more cause it’s interesting
@@Ecdetailswhich kranzle? With my gas unit it’s 3200psi @2.8gpm and even the cheapest Amazon foam cannon produces insanely thick foam with that behind it
@@AmirAbdullah Ya that makes sense I got mine at 1.9 with the kranzle, never an issue with any cannon stock. Appreciate the info!
@@jmizzonini Hey bro thanks for the comment I get a thick phone with all the other foam cannos expect griots. Even the cheap amazon one it was thiccc three c's
Interesting, I have never changed the orifice and every cannon I’ve used does great just the griots one is thirsty and wants more gpm then my kranzle
Love my $20 sooprinse Amazon foam cannon I tested it side by side with the griots boss and they foamed about the same I think my Amazon actually did better!
Wild right thanks for sharing your experiences
Eddie, you should hang on to that GGBossFC and just use it to apply P&S Swift Clean-n-Shine on door sills! 🤣
Foam if alllll over the interior
Honestly none of these devices should be more than 50 bucks. And with the increased capability of modern manufacturing that is still high. If I do foam instead of rinseless I use $25 amazon cannon.
Ya not sure why they jumped up in price but everything has.
The sooprinse is 20 bucks and comes with a microfiber mitt. Throw in a tighter orifice and a denser foam filter and it'll compete directly with a mjc. Like you said no need to spend this much money on a foam cannon
@@aRANDOMqUICKIEgunsandfun nice to splurge once in a while but honestly spend it on yourself or your partner. Makes for a happier life!
Nice review. Not sure if I read it anywhere from them before but I think they like the foam but more liquidy. I can be 100% wrong. But I prefer the crazy thin like foam of MJJC. Plus the design looks better.
Ya I get the thin foam and sometimes it’s warrant but I wanna decide when you know what I mean
@@Ecdetails that's facts! You should have the option whether runny or thick foam. 💪
If the veloce isn't clean after this there is a serious problem 😂
The griots wasn't bad I've seen much worse
Tough to go up against the goated MJJC
Awesome video!
Not bad and 99 bucks seems like oxymoronic haha like jumbo shrimp it’s everyone’s preference for me it wasn’t worth hype
@Ecdetails 🤣
I've never had a jumbo shrimp but I see your point here
🚌 💥 Mike got the good foam cannons 🧼💪
Thanks for watching
ya i had to change to a 1.1 then its fine. the big opening is good. but ya, 20 bucks cheaper others
Thanks for watching
Sorry, I can't agree with you on this one brother, but in my book Griot's is my top pick. MJCC is as good but not better for foam. And MTM IS great, but with Griot's with it's metering tips designed for their soaps and the connectivity with their bottles is awesome 👍😎. Griot's (pronounced GREOHS, LOL) SURFACE WASH soap is killer. It has the best dwell time and cleaning than any other I have tried in the business in my climate zone. I use Adams pro pressure washer, which replaced my AR, and it is not only phenomenal it is quiet. Nothing comes close. My opinion, and we all have one.
I don’t use griots products I just use my own regular stuff so here is the deal
1. I took the griots apart , cleaned it , installed a 1.25 orifice got a new plug from og and put it all together
I am retesting now - but I’m not sure it’s as good as mjjc 3 or even the #2 time will tell
Man
I used the 1.1 in each
You didn't troll flip the Griots that is why it didn't work. It's more expensive because it's OG SPEC
👀👀👀 I brought it before og got them in stock, I do like the fast correcting cream
@@Ecdetails I don't think he has them in stock yet. I was considering Griots or MTM BUT I don't have to now.
@@JhawkerZ NV snowstorm ftw
Using jamies favorite mega foam i see
Haha 😆 I could of used any and it would of done better
🫠
Bro your Griots is not working correct chk the filter mesh also the Griots dont kneed any watering down . Just fill only with soap make sure you use the purple tip that goes into the rubber hose and that cannon should fire very thick foam as much as a MJJC Canon if not better then a MJJC my Grots shoots out so thick it is like clouds of sticky pillow it dose not even run down off the paint it just sticks like glue to the cars . your is not working correct . This is how thick the griots should be clouds and pillows of foam ua-cam.com/video/uz8KtEBxwwE/v-deo.htmlsi=EYFoNyPu9cT1C2VE&t=831
I checked it all and rebuilt , reorder the purple filters and I’ll test again been testing the rebuild and it’s going real good

I got my Griots Boss foam cannon for $60 on Amazon and I’m perfectly happy with it…maybe because I paid $30 less.🤷♂️
great deal bro
Griot's is like a high maintenance woman in what type soap works best. I will take my MTM cannon any day since the MJCC nozzle is too long. I do like the weighted water inlet tube and the clear soap jar on MJCC. Foam fight is over children.
haha mtm is awesome I probably should of used that to compare cause even that does amazing and foams on good. Thanks for watching
Disappointed. I just saw this foam cannon on obsessed garage, where it performed very well. But he have also 2 Kranzle setup 😂
ah I think I got it before he starting selling griots I saw his was glorious
I agree that for $90 it should foam better than that
Great video! If you’re pressure washer pushes more than 2gpm you don’t need the smaller orifice. In fact my active 2.0 had a warning saying that the smaller orifice would damage the unit over time.
Correct I’m not changing the orifice , all my other ones foam amazing
11:00 i know it helps for clicks, but kids, at least, should not be exposed to chemicals imho...😞
YA I suck man I need to make sure she gloves up - we actually got a doctor coming on the podcast to review what chemicals do to the body
Do I spy a Carbon Collective stubby
Yes 🙌🏾
You didn’t even use it correctly. How are you going to be a detailer and not follow the directions man. Smh.
Bruh you don’t meter non griots soap. How is the proper way of using it?
@@Ecdetails It meters any kind of soap. You also should’ve put in the smaller orifice that it came with.
@@Ecdetails IMJOSHV used the Griots foam cannon with Chemical Guys Mr. Pink and it metered it perfectly. He also switched the orifice and it made perfect shaving cream foam using a little Ryobi.
@@Samuelfish2kI’ll re test - I replaced the filter new plug I’ll re do the video thanks for the bbadvice everyone I talked to said meter was for griots soap 🧼
@@Ecdetails I’ll pay you $25+ shipping if you don’t like it. Lol.
Metering tip is dumb. You have orifice, dilution inside the bottle, metering knob on top and metering tip all affecting your dilution ratio. Another marketing gimmick
I don’t buy the hype and I think the cost is to high but it’s my own opinion. Appreciate ya watching happy holidays
Yep, seen them work here and too pricey for a bad performance.
Agreed way to much money
