@@fratermus5502 I have to admit those guys are pretty legit. I saw a few videos of them, my only preconception was they better have that metal sound, not just covering metal songs with mariachi instruments, to my surprise they had that steely sound and used pick-ups along with right technique. Once I saw that I was on board they're legit.

I use a Wegan 3.5 mm Gypsy Jazz Pick which is quite a big solid pick. Interestingly enough Purple Plectrums makes good big picks that'll work too.

It's loud because traditionally it's performed to crowds without microphone or speakers. You have to be loud if you want to be heard.

It’s kinda like writing very hard on paper.. you can tell.. you want less pressure as possible when playing is what your saying? The pick being the pencil ✏️ if that makes sense.

That’s a c chord using all four fingers what ?

Yes, technically when I'm playing a c chord this way I'm playing an inversion of the chord with a G in the bass but otherwise i'd be playing an E in the bass open which is another inversion. This was sounds subjectively better to me. less open for a chord that already has all natural notes
