Added beautification:
Why not have access to one storey PO building near the esplanade or at back of PO main bldg. From esplanade construct steel stairs going up to roof deck of PO one storey bldg. The people will have a higher and elevated viewing of the Pasig river with bleacher type of sittings @ 40 people per row of four rows. Construct a polycarbonate roofing for protection against sunburn or rain.I think it can accomodate 160 people.
The whole esplanade area has no covered roof in case there is a thunderstorm or in rainy season. The people will stay longer if there are kiosks for foods and drinks.

👍yes! I noticed that also.
And for added security put special steel matting ( size 12 mm round bars corrosion proof) and to be welded to post, to avoid any untoward incidents like sabotageby terrorists.That's why I recommend/suggestion of having at least 3000 guards for the 25 kms pasig river. Remember Malacañan is at one side of the river. There must be patrol boats and roaming guards all over the river sides to prevent any untoward incidents.
