Regarding, "The Tribe", Also done as a human exhibit 1906 in the United States at the Bronx Zoo. The young man's name was Ota Benga who was a Mbuti (Congo Pygmy), he was purchased from a slave trader to a businessman, named Samuel Verner who was looking for African people for a exhibition. In 1904 before the Bronx Zoo Benga was being featured in an exhibit at the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition in St. Louis Missouri. While at the Bronx Zoo Benga was allowed to walk the grounds of the zoo before and after the exhibit at the Monkey House. A spokesperson, Robert Stuart MacArthur for the delegation for Black Churches Petitioned, NYC Mayor McClellan for Benga's release from the Bronx Zoo, after published editorials from the Black American newspaper opposing Benga's treatment. In 1906 Mayor McClellan released Benga to the custody of James M. Gordon, who supervised the Howard Colored Orphan Asylum in Brooklyn. In 1910 Mr. Gordan arranged for Benga to be cared for in Lynchburg Virginia, where he lived, was tutored in English and worked at the Lynchburg Tobacco company Factory. In 1914 Benga tried to go home to Africa, but the outbreak of War World I stopped all passenger ship travels. In 1916 Benga fell into a deep depression after finding out that his family were murdered and his Village destroyed, while he went out hunting and was captured. He had a wife and two children. Ota Benga died the same year from suicide. When I found out about this story a year ago, I couldn't stop crying. Ota Benga worked hard at that factory, and saved money to go back home, not to visit he wanted to see his family. I have told ALL, and they all agree with me on my decision. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE BRONX ZOO AGAIN.
Interesting. My grandparents on my fathers side might have come from Hungary too. I had a few very old ladies in my childhood and one taught me how to ask for a glass of water in Hungarian. I still remember. She gave me buttermilk which I liked at the time.

My take on the belly frogs is that at one point someone drank water containing polywogs but didn't realize it. For some reason the thing continued growing and probably was found in the belly in some gruesome way.
3:23 Tobacco? A BIG FAT LIE! 😂 But seriously, that side of the world did not have tobacco. The Americas had it, so it wasn't in "the old world" until they brought it from there. I thought I was going crazy for a second but it's this channel going crazy 😛
I heard that as a kid and as watermelon is very popular in my home state of Oklahoma,in fact there's a town that is the watermelon capital of the world. Rush springs Oklahoma. It has a huge watermelon festival every year, anything you can think of to make from watermelon is there and then some.
I stopped watching this channel when my two favorite red headed hosts left. I didn't know they were back. Excellent!
Me too
They aren't back it's just a montage of old videos they hosted along with the recent hosts as well.
They aren't back, they're rehashing old content.
The old hosts are not back the channel is just reposting old videos because of the virus so they still have content to publish
